A '''Madhava series''' is any one of the series in a collection of infinite series expressions all of which are believed to have been discovered by Sangamagrama Madhava (c. 1350 – c. 1425) the founder of the Kerala school of astronomy and mathematics. These expressions are the infinite power series expansions of the trigonometric sine, cosine and arctangent functions, and the special case of the power series expansion of the arctangent function yielding a formula for computing π. The power series expansions of sine and cosine functions are respectively called Madhava's sine series and Madhava's cosine series. The power series expansion of the arctangent function is sometimes called Madhava–Gregory series[1][2] or Gregory–Madhava series. These power series are also collectively called Taylor–Madhava series.[3] The formula for π is referred to as Madhava–Newton series or Madhava–Leibnitz series or Leibniz formula for pi or Leibnitz–Gregory–Madhava series.[4] These further names for the various series are reflective of the names of the western discoverers or popularizers of the respective series.

No surviving works of Madhava contain explicit statements regarding the expressions which are now referred to as Madhava series. However, in the writing of later members of the Kerala school of astronomy and mathematics like Nilakantha Somayaji and Jyeshthadeva one can find unambiguous attributions of these series to Madhava. It is also in the works of these later astronomers and mathematicians one can trace the Indian proofs of these series expansions. These proofs provide enough indications about the approach Madhava had adopted to arrive at his series expansions.

'''Zeus ARC Trooper Commander 003''', or '''"Scorch,"''' is the last in a line of specialized Advanced Recon Commandos developed by [[Sneezier]] using Yoshilier's genetic strain. Scorch is a first-generation clone, using cells directly from Yoshilier. Scorch made his famous stand in the Dark Ages, but has served with the core Yoshi Bodyguards even past their breakup. Scorch now commands the 1st ARC Trooper Regiment, which quickly has become the most feared regiment in the modern [[Star World Defensive Forces]].

== History ==

===Creation===

Scorch is a first generation Yoshi clone created from the genetic strain of Yoshilier during Sneezier's Zeus project, a project to create better commando units for the Clone Army. Due to the immense cost, the project was soon canceled, but not before four Zeus ARC Troopers were created. One of these was Scorch. Scorch underwent intense training before being fielded in several engagements against the [[COUE]]. It would be worth noting that before the Dark Ages, he befriended his suits intelligent AI system, Erica. The two served side by side on many a mission. Scorch was sent back to Yoshi Bodyguard Headquarters, taking defensive duty with his fellow Zeus ARCs briefly before the greatest calamity overtook Star World.

===The Dark Ages===

On the Zeus ARC trooper's watch, the Yoshi Bodyguard Headquarters was overrun by the demonic menace. Two of the four Zeus ARCs died when trying to evacuate. Scorch and Zeus 004 made it onto a transport en route to Mushroom Kingdom before it was shot down. Zeus 004 was killed in the impact. Scorch lead the remaining Clones of the crash to Mushroom Kingdom, helping in it's defense and evacuation. After all denizens were evacuated, Scorch took what remained of the defenders and engaged Vaufendor's forces on open ground and taking some of their spawning portals. The battle came at a cost, causing a 60% mortality for Scorch's defenses, but it was a victory.

Knowing it would only be a matter of time before Mushroom Kingdom was overrun, Scorch managed to contact the fleet above, and took what defenders remained to evacuate the refugee camps scattered across the planet. His liberators moved through western Mushroom Kingdom, and into the Beanbean and Koopa Kingdoms. On the way, his forces gained volunteers, reinforcing his ground forces with what weapons the refugees and remaining SWDF forces had, including tanks and aircraft.

Scorch's greatest failure came when he fought the demons on the Western coast of Star World. After hunting down a refugee camp that was under the saw of Vaufendor, the demons ambushed Scorch's liberators. Nearly all were killed. Scorch managed to escape with a small part of his forces, a majority of those killed by the elements or driven mad when the Titan revealed itself. Scorch's Zeus Armor, weapons, and his AI Erica were all destroyed by the metal-eating air emitted by the Titan. The loss of his friend and his army still haunts Scorch.

Scorch managed to retreat to a refugee camp, built out of a wrecked Starcruiser. There, he fended off the demon's forces, and watched [[Subsourian]] fight the Titan. When Sub nearly killed himself stalling the god, Scorch ran to the field, and carried him back to the camp, where he was given medical care for the remainder of the Dark Ages. He then was forced to defend the camp while [[Anubis]] faced down the Eater of Worlds, inevitably ending in a success.

===Service to the Yoshi Bodyguards===

Scorch managed to save the refugees, and was one of the few clone troopers to survive on Star World for the entire Dark Ages. He was promoted to Commander, leading the 1st ARC Trooper Regiment, uniting the remaining Advanced Reconnaissance Commandos that survived through the Dark Ages. Scorch mostly served against the COUE up to their downfall, and was then reassigned to base duty.

His exploits with the Yoshi Bodyguards started when the base was raided by Bounty Hunters, each seeking information on the Alambic Sector's "Ultimate Power." It was Scorch that helped face down Gorea with Samus, delivering several blows to the God-Creature itself. Scorch returned to base, briefly aiding in a strange minimizing event for the Yoshi Bodyguards, forced to wander the base at a smaller size.

He then helped with several Operations on Pokeworld, helping [[Danny]] in finding his family and destroying the abomination that mimicked him, [[Dark Danny]]. Scorch was also leader of the group captured by Chozo sentry devices in [[The Shadows of Nor'Lesha]], breaking out of prison to contact the Federation, getting them off of the planet.

When the first battle of Finichia broke out, starting the [[Metal Wars]], Scorch was part of Sub's expedition to recover the Titan [[Dominatris]]. He personally fought the [[Necron|Necron's Nightbringer]], inevitably failing against his might, though he did survive the day.

Scorch would serve in many more Metal Wars battles, giving the 1st ARC Troopers fame. He personally delivered the bomb that devastated the Metal Army fleet in the Mid-Rim campaign, and his men held back forces in the Talon system, holding out against entire legions even with no reinforcements or cover. Scorch gained fame here, though he was there to help the Yoshi Bodyguards in several more missions, namely against [[Dark Danny]] and COUE remnants. However, one of his great blunder was on [[Chronis]], where he ordered the Storm Angels on an Order Extermanatis to neutralize all threats on the planet, unknowingly damning the SWDF garrison there. This lead to the breakup of the Yoshi Bodyguards, making him somewhat responsible for their dismantlement. Scorch at the time was serving on New Hyrule, but the events surrounding the mission are classified.

He also served in a little known event involving [[the Cloud]], Operation: Cloud Hunt. He held down the base camp of Area 64, but was warped back to the "real" universe by a image of [[Topper]] with the rest of the clone army.

When the Yoshi Bodyguards broke up, Scorch was given no choice in the matter of joining the SWDF. His 1st ARC Trooper Regiment's fame, though, gave him access to many aspects of the SWDF life. He himself could pick and choose missions assigned to him, allowing him to work with [[Team TOT]] when he so chose.

===Modern Years===

Scorch's work with Team TOT was mostly limited to a major event involving a massive ghost Pokemon that threatened the sector. He was given permission to partake in aiding Team TOT alone, battling across space and time to fight the monster. In the end, Nocktor was destroyed, and Scorch brought back to Star World in time for the Metal Army invasion. With the aid of [[Frob and Bread]], his newly appointed honor guard, Scorch turned the tide of the battle of Fort Me'Chai, breaking their invasion in several sectors before they could gain a foothold.

Scorch then was assigned to recover Domanatris. He, Frob, and Bread arrived, just as the Copper Legion attacked the Yoshi Bodyguard position around the Titan. After all seemed lost, the Vhozon showed up, stating the Metal Army was a threat to them as well, as they had something in their possession with the capabilities to destroy everybody. Scorch used their help to defeat the Copper Legion, and took Domantris to Mekkai.

When Scorch landed, the three of them joined in the final battle against [[Metal Sneezier]] and [[Ultra Stuffwell]]. Scorch was given s atrange power through the battle, enabling him to speed through space in an orb of light. Scorch aided in the Metal Army's final defeat, and was given honors for his service to Star World.

Scorch appeared in the final battle against the Dark Perforation, as well. He personally fought his way through their defenses, eventually beating the Dark Perforation's core. However, in the final battle, his honor guard, [[Frob and Bread]], deserted the fight. Though it never was stated, Scorch was dishonored by this, as he personally vouched for their honors. He cannot figure out why they would abandon the battle, and is somewhat hurt by it.

Scorch continues to serve Star World, now resting from his previous victories. With command of his regiment, he has had little time to work with Sub or Team TOT. However, he knows his duty, and continues to serve against the enemies of Star World.

== Discrepancies ==

===Appearance in the Dark Ages===

Originally, Sub had used a character in the Dark Ages named ARC Yoshilier, serving as Sub's assistant in manners involving the clone army. Scorch was supposed to be a renamed ARC Yoshilier, and was referenced to have served with Sub in the Dark Ages. However, Sub reintroduced ARC Yoshilier as his assistant in the [[Nightwind IV]], and created a backstory for Scorch's service, making the two characters separate.

== Non-Canon Appearances ==

===[[Tick Tack Emissary]]===

Scorch appeared in the alternate-universe TTE, where he mimicked Falco in his moveset. Scorch was sent to aid Sub and Blizzard outside a jungle area, where they fought a clone of Blizzard. Scorch then called the [[Nightwind IV]] in, in order to peruse Pichup's capers. Scorch then commanded the Nightwind IV against the Ghost Ship, failing against it's magic, despite superior size and armaments. However, the Ghost ship was liberated, and Scorch used the Nightwind IV to lead the attack into Count Bleah's lair. The first attack failed, turning Scorch into a trophy. However, after he was resurrected, Scorch helped beat Count Bleah, in the process nearly killing himself in order to save Sub.

Scorch was sleighed to appear in this RP as a "door character," who is followed by the "real" main characters. Scorch was to appear in his Dark Age incarnation, where he would be raiding a demon camp in order to cover a group of fleeing refugees. This never happened, however, as he was never chosen before the RP died out.

== Personal Information ==

===Personality===

Scorch is a soldier at heart. He serves in battle with pride, and yet seeks little glory on the field (just the same, the 1st ARC's records are usually kept top secret). Scorch has a love for the Yoshi Bodyguards, and helps them with missions whenever the chance comes by. It has been referenced that he does seek a relationship, and, like Topper, is somewhat jealous of the other relationships of YB members. However, he knows that, being a clone, he would have no time for that, and must stick to his duty first. Scorch is strict on the battlefield, wanting only to see those under his command survive the day. No mercy is shown by him in war.

===Abilities===

Scorch's abilities are in his armor and weapons. His body itself is augmented with strength past that of a normal Yoshi, with faster reflexes and better combat abilities. However, he relies on his weapons and armor to win the day, employing rockets, battlerifles, and explosives in order to defeat his enemies.

====Final Smash: Strafing Run====

Scorch, with his high rank, he is able to call in strikes from nearby SWDF vessels. These orbital strikes start with a bombardment of several fighters, which clear the area. Then, the ship fires medium range weapons, finishing up with a full bombardment of the area. The strength of this attack depends on the location. If there are local ships to call on, the attack is lethal. If not, the final smash is nearly useless.

Scorch was created from a cell of Yoshilier, cloning his direct DNA. He never got to meet Yoshilier, but he has heard of his exploits and death. Scorch considers him somewhat of a saint or guardian angel.

====Clone Army====

Scorch's closest family is the Yoshi Bodyguard Clone Army, most of which were born in the same lab. He cares for their safety, and puts it on himself when they die under his command. Due to anti-clone sentiments, Scorch, like all other clones, has had to stick to his clones for companionship. His direct relations were to the other three Zeus ARC Troopers, who were all killed in the Dark Ages. For now, he considers the 1st ARC Trooper Regiment the closest thing he has to a family.

====AR55 Battle Rifle====

The AR55 is Scorch's customizable gun. The gun carries "universal ammunition rounds," which can be modified to a single-shot sniper format, a multi-burst mid-range format, a close range automatic format, and a "stun" mode. The rounds come in different variants: standard, scatter, armor-piercing, incinerary, explosive, and "safe." Currently, there is talk of a newer "energy" variant, being created at Scorch's request since the Dark Perforation battle. Sneezier personally took the request and have the new weapon ready soon.

====S7786 Zeus Class Combat Battle Armor====

Scorch, being part of an experimental program, was given a suit of prototype armor that enabled him to uplink with PS systems, lock onto targets via HUD, survey squad member status, and scan targets for upload into the PS database. This armor was destroyed in the Dark Ages, but [[Sneezier]] created a second suit, this one containing better versions of the same features. Due to issues with the interface, the original "energy shield" aspect of the armor was scrapped, instead augmenting the armor for better defense all around. The armor improved tolerance, but does not make Scorch immune to radiation, and contains small oxygen tanks for underwater and space missions.

====ARC Missile Launcher====

New to Scorch's arsenal is the ARC missile launcher, standard for explosive or anti-armor missions. This launcher fires Deznium-tipped rockets that explode on contact. In addition, the user gets limited control over the rocket, allowing them to hit specific targets with ease. Scorch rarely uses this weapon due to issues with weight and size, but it was one of his key components in the non-canon [[Tick Tack Emissary]].

====Grenades and Mines====

Among other things, Scorch carries an arsenal of grenades and mines. These come in different variants, grenades being, but not limited to plasma, stun, frag, and incinerary, while the mines are trip, timed, and remote. Scorch uses these liberally, and has a good record with their effectiveness and accuracy.

====Other Supplies====

Though the above items are standard on Scorch, his arsenal varies with missions. He carries two side arms, in case of disarmament, and a built in arm blade for close combat. Usually, he has medical supplies on hand, and has a basic first aid knowledge. Scorch also carried around the destroyed chip of the AI Erica, keeping it as a memoir of a lost friend and a good luck charm.

===Residence===

Scorch wanders from base to base, never staying in one place for too long. With the transfer into the SWDF and the types of missions his regiment carry out, Scorch cannot hold down a set "home." He very rarely sleeps, and when he does, it is in outposts or on transports between missions.

Pokeworld is a planet of the Zornell Sector, in the Mid-Rim of Sentient Space. One of the few worlds habitable for life, Pokeworld houses a strange genetic strain of creatures known as Pokemon. The world was colonized by the Galactic Federation in the early 1300s, but in the mid 1800s was given it's own government. Pokeworld is a common planet in Yoshi Bodyguard stories, namely due to it's vast criminal underworld and strange creatures that inhabit it. In addition, many Yoshi Bodyguards are from Pokeworld.

The fauna of Pokeworld is the standard carbon-based photosynthetic life forms found on habitable worlds with set life. However, it has been noted that the Pokemon mutation has found its way into many forms of plant life. In these cases, the planet becomes a symbiont of an animal creature, or the planet takes on a animal shape. Some are even from solid rock and lava.

===Geography===

Pokeworld is a diverse climate, ranging from deserts to frozen ice sheets. The landscape is largely influenced by water, which covers a vast majority of the planet. The basic silicon elements of rock are present in the crust, allowing for a stable planet. Most of the population centers are near and around oceans, with few further inland. The planet is divided into major "Regions," set by Federation mandate since the planet's founding.

== History ==

===Creation and Early years===

Pokeworld, as a planet, was created when the local star went supernova, creating a large mass. According to Pokéworld myth, the planet's creation is started when the "first" Pokemon named Arceus emerged from an egg created Pokeworld with a thousand arms or at least crafted it from a dead T0 planet into a T3 planet. Historians continue to debate if this took place during the birth of the universe or billions of years ago, although recent evidence points to Arceus being created far after the planet was formed. Other myths state there was a simple ancestral link to all Pokemon, [[Mew]]. Whether this would point to Mew coming before Arceus or Arceus not technically being a Pokemon is still unknown.

What is known, however, is that a strange comet had crashed into Pokeworld sometime after it's creation. This meteor, of completely unknown consistency, seemed to move at near-lightspeed, and pierced deep into the crust. The meteor has long since decayed, but strange energy signatures remain deep in the mantle. This energy has a strange effect on DNA, rapidly mutating it to adapt with it's environment. These signatures are similar to two recent collisions, one in the Artic Ice sheets, which contained the genetic code for a Pokemon named Deoxys, and another in the Cindek region.

In prehistoric times, it is thought several core Pokemon species existed. Little is known of the events prior to human settlement, although there are several who know of the demon [[Nocktor]]'s attempts to destroy the planet in ancient times. Humans arrived around the 1200s, when it was discovered by the young Galactic Federation, and officially colonized the planet in the 1300s. They named the planet "New Terra," after the myth of a long lost human homeworld of Earth.

Massive cities were constructed, and, though much history has been lost, word speaks of several attempts to war with Pokemon species on the planet, mostly done by fanatical religious cults prominent in the Federation. Since then, very strict guidelines had been put on the "killing" of any Pokemon, and it's abundant other species have been used as food sources, although this has caused the number of Farfetch'd on the planet to begin to dwindle.

===The Founding of a Nation===

With the Federation controlling New Terra, it had debated on what to do about the strange Pokemon that wandered the planet. It had been discovered that nearly 90% of the species could be tamed, and possessed some degree of sentient intelligence. One day, an inventor stumbled across a strange kink in the Pokemon's makeup, it had the ability, when under a specific beam, to be turned into a ball of subatomic matter and contained. This would cause no harm to the creature, but allow them to be carried around. The creatures, previously unnamed, were thus named "Pocket Monsters," or Pokemon, for short. Later, the creation would be named the Pokeball (originally made of hollowed-out apricorns), an invention which would shape the planet's history forever.

In the 1800s of the Star World Calender, the Federation was locked in a war with the militant Space Pirates, and had to divert forces to protect it's core colonies. Due to this, they found they could not properly control worlds such as New Terra, which was beginning to rise in crime. Thus, the Federation began to give their outer colonies independence. New Terra was one of these. under a new leadership, the world was renamed Pokeworld, after the Pokemon that remained the planet's key curiosity.

Pokemon, too, began to evolve before the eyes of the humans. Some were beginning to develop full sentience and self awareness, and even adapted to the language of Federation Common. Most, however, continued to speak in their own tongues, whether by choice or by a natural block, a mystery still unsolved.

===The Rise of the Criminal Underworld===

With the planet's liberation coming somewhat unexpectedly, the new government instated was fairly weak. The Pokeworld Defensive Forces was founded, but remained one of the smallest standing armies to defend a densely populated world. What caused the most concern were the multitude of various mobs that seemed to control the planet.

First to develop, in the large cities of the Johto and Kanto regions, was Team Rocket. At first, they began as petty street gangs that aimed at stealing Pokemon, and promoting illegal activities involving them, including harvesting and gambling with them. The group, taking advantage of the weak government, soon grew in size, moving into the workings of many government departments and big businesses.

Up in the desert regions of Orre, several bandits formed another Team of their own; Team Snagem. Their purpose was simple, ambush trainers and steal their Pokemon. They were destroyed by infighting and merged with another gang later, but not before they changed the gang world with the invention of the Snag machine, a suit with the ability to steal Pokemon already attached to trainers.

Religion also made it's appearance in two gangs. Team Magma and Team Aqua were two rival gangs founded on the principal of land vs water, based on the teachings of the Elementals, a group of warring cults in the Federation who sought to turn planets into a single element, air, earth, fire, or water. Though they did not swear allegiance to either cult, they plotted to use the three ancient Pokemon,Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, in order to change the landmass to their liking, pure land for Magma, and an eternal ocean for Aqua. These factions were defeated by Pokemon trainers and PDF forces when their plans almost came to pass.

Another to form, mightier than most, was Cipher. They sought to manipulate the genetic makeup of Pokemon in order to create aggressive and warlike breeds. Their research lead them to use Team Snagem's Snag machine to attack the nearby cities and steal specific kinds of Pokemon. After assimilating the last of Team Snagem, the group began a massive campaign of using "Shadow Pokemon." Cipher was defeated after two failed attempts at the region, but their research did not die. It soon fell into the hands of Team Rocket.

Another gang that formed at the time was Team Galactic. This group was of Federation loyalists who were upset with the new government, and sought to overthrow it. After a failed coup in 1890, Galactic seemed to be broken up. Eventually, they lost their purpose, seeking only to control the planet using Pokemon that traversed dimensional rifts, spacial tears, and the very timeline. The team came close at one point, almost manipulating time and space in order to dominate the world. The attempt was foiled, though the team remains.

The one team that has survived countless defeats is Team Rocket. They took Cipher's research, and recreated their projects. Soon, countless Shadow Pokemon were under their command, and many Pokemon, including the famed [[Danny Chu]] of the Yoshi Bodyguards, were put in unimaginable experiments in order to progress the rocket agenda. The PDF has made countless attempts to stop their projects, but they have become so entrenched in the planet, that there is very little that could be done to stem them.

===Modern Years===

When Rocket began to experiment on Shadow Pokemon, they met with the disapproval of even their own members, mainly when they began to manipulate human DNA to accelerate their efforts. A civil war broke out, causing violence in many major population centers. However, the rebel faction could not hold out for long, and within a year, they were disbanded, their leaders executed.

From this project, a Pokemon named [[Danny]] arose, a Pikachu who had full sentience and even the ability to speak fluid Federation Common. This Pokemon was a milestone in Rocket's scientific efforts, using imported Space Pirate Phazon in order to bind him to the shadow energy, which worked perfectly. However, this would later lead to the rise of [[Dark Danny]] somewhere offworld.

In this time, many other Pokemon with full sentience broke away from humanity, moving into islands far beyond the reach of humans. These Pokemon began to mimic the style of the human settlers, creating gyms and centers, and even a set social hierarchy. Others still created near-utopia societies, with, unknown to them, sanction from the Pokeworld Defensive Forces that no human or other race would intervene unless circumstances provided. Only several times have the Yoshi Bodyguards been called in to settle issues on these islands.

On other occasions, the Yoshi Bodyguards had been called in, under the personal request of member [[Danny Chu]], to stem several Team Rocket cells that threatened those personally known to the Yoshi Bodyguards. However, the Pokeworld Defensive Forces, at the time, were still too weak and knee-deep in Rocket corruption in their ranks to do anything. Another threat came from Rocket-byproduct Dark Danny, who threatened to destroy the planet using his Phazon affinity. He had even recruited a Metal clone of Danny, which shared his death when they tried to control Arceus.

Indeed, there had been several attempts to use "Legendary" status Pokemon to take over the planet. Almost all kinds, at some point, have had factions vie for control of their power, be it over time, space, or the elements. All of these attempts were foiled, be it by trainers, the PDF, or the Yoshi Bodyguards. Recently, the PDF has put up restrictions, banning the capture and research of these Pokemon, although trainers continue to ignore the warning.

[[Nocktor]], an ancient ghost bent on sheer destruction, also was a threat to Pokeworld. Though the situation's end was never revealed, it was known that the battle with the ghost Pokemon reached across space and time, even going into another timeline entirely, ending with a victory for the Yoshi Bodyguards.

Everything changed on Pokeworld, though, after the Metal Wars ended. In one fell swoop, the [[Dark Perforation Crusade]] came to the planet, overwhelming the defenders and wiping out the PDF's command structure. From this, General [[Cyrus Vance]] rose to power, and united the remaining defensive forces against the [[Dark Perforation Crusade]] and driving them off the planet. Vance, now the highest ranking officer in the PDF, organized a counter offensive, and helped the SWDF break through the DPC's castle.

Recently, the planet's status has improved. The PDF has become a stronger fighting force, Team Rocket has begun to wane, and the standard of living is becoming higher. The concern is the division between human and Pokemon, which, though intellectually is coming closer, is socially becoming more distant. A mutual distrust has begun to form between the "sentients" and humans, which may lead to conflict in the future

===Human Extinction and Rise of Sentient Pokemon===

Details are still unknown, but from future events and stories, it is known that somewhere near the year 2500, humanity was wiped from the planet of Pokeworld. Cities lay barren, and fields were scorched. Oddly enough, the environment was not harmed, and Pokemon flourished, making small towns. However, they have not progressed past a stage of innocence, lacking weapons and tyrannical governments. Strangely enough, the galactic government of the time has made no attempts to reclaim the world.

== Culture ==

The planet of Pokeworld is described as the perfect habitable planet for the [[human]] race, hence it's old name, New Terra. The culture there is a blend of Federation customs and it's own, Pokemon based culture. It is considered a right of manhood to go out and collect, train, and battle these creatures, a hobby which 95% of the planet's human population is involved in. Massive tournaments called Pokemon Leauges draw massive crowds, from onworld and off. Others, however, choose to become Pokemon Coordinators, which stresses on style more than just battling. Still others keep them as pets.

===Creation===
Omega was first created in the Mekkai Palace in a project overseen by the Grand Hi-Lord of the Steel Legion. This project was approved by Metal Sneezier, making an heir to the throne should he have fallen. In a lengthy process, consuming a massive ammount of time, resources, and research, they finally created a powerful mech that emitted a strong psychic frequency and extremely powerful armor, naming him Omega, as they would not unleash him until the Metal Army was at its end. In order to keep his existance a secret, he was transfered to Alinos, where the Ultimate AI project was underway. He was sealed underneath the Citadel, serveing as both a hiding place for Omega and a defense system for the AI should the need arise.

However, in [[Grodus Rising]], the X-Nauts manage to raid the citadel. The chief researcher on the scene, [[Doctor Albert]], activated him, and he gathered the remains of the Steel Legion Champions before falling back from the Citadel. However, before he goes, he taunts Grodus, saying he will make sure that his rule will be short lived.

===Shattered Empire===

Omega came to Mekkai, but under the cover of normal footsoldiers. They did not stay long, for near the end of the Metal Wars, Omega brought along Dr. Albert, Litera, a battalion of new generation NMAR robots, and what MAR models he could to a secret facility that contained a prototype warp-gate called the Zakrello Gate. Before they plan out for their attack, brainwashed renegade Metal Army Robots attacked the fortress, mainly the Emerald Leigon under Eye-Zack's command. Omega eventually killed the traitor and plans to destroy the bane of his followers, the AI Disruptor. Conrad would later join the alliance after Litera's "offer".

In order to keep his existance a secret, he was transfered to Alinos, where the Ultimate AI project was underway. He was sealed underneath the Citadel, serveing as both a hiding place for Omega and a defense system for the AI should the need arise.

However, in [[Grodus Rising]], the X-Nauts manage to raid the citadel. The chief researcher on the scene, [[Doctor Albert]], activated him, and he gathered the remains of the Steel Legion Champions before falling back from the Citadel. However, before he goes, he taunts Grodus, saying he will make sure that his rule will be short lived.

One of the most powerful dark mages in history, Nergal the Madman, had begun to create an army of Morphs to aid him in obtaining the power of dragons. Several Morphs were granted the emotions and personalities, Subsourian being one of the lucky few. Soon after his creation, a band of heroes from the neighboring country of Lycia raided Nergal's lair at the Dread Isle, killing Nergal and the bulk of his morphs. Subsourian was one of the few survivors to flee the destruction of the gate, taking with him his master's spellbook, the Twilight Lexicanium.

Subsourian fled to the mainland of Elibe, where bounty hunters searching for the last remnants of Nergal's army pursued him. After a war broke out on the mainland between the countries of Bern and Lycia, Subsourian fled the continent altogether, fighting refuge in a distant land with a band of mercenaries. There, he learned the art of war and tactics, and aided them in overthrowing a cruel dictator in their kingdom. However, in the last days of the conflict, Subsourian was forced to use his master's spell, Ereshkigal, to save his allies. The spell worked, but Subsourian, unable to control the spell, was hurled into the vortex of dark mana, and thought to be dead.

==The Yoshi-Koopa War==

===Out of the Abyss===

When Sub used Ereshkigal and opened up the vortex of dark mana, he was cast into the abyss between worlds, where all dark mana is spawned. Sub was sustained in a stasis there, and, for nearly two thousand years, simply remained locked between time and space.

One day, on the planet of Star World, deep in the Koopa Kingdom, mages were testing uses for dark magic. One of the spells they cats tore a vortex through a nearby town, destroying it an it's populace. The vortex was strong enough, however, to rip Subsourian out from the Abyss and into Star World.

For about five years, Subsourian wandered, disguised as a mere goomba, the lowest of lows in the Koopa Kingdom caste system. He was later conscripted to join the Koopa Kingdom's military, and served in their magi regiments, where he continued honing his skill for the arcane arts. Sub was forced to fight under the command of the Koopa king, Ludwig von Koopa the First.

All of this changed when Sub and his regiment were charged with attacking a small tribe of Yoshis. The Yoshis, who were divided into tribes at the time, were virtually helpless against their onslaught. When King Ludwig ordered the slaughter of a tribe who had saved their regiment from defeat, Sub was one of many who defected to the tribe to fight against Ludwig.

This defection outraged King Ludwig, and he sent his massive naval fleets (all of which using Renaissance Period technologies) to assault the traitors. Sub, his defected human ally Pentance, and the Yoshi leader, [[Yoshimire]], all formed together to defend their island from the attack. Thus, the first Yoshi-Koopa war began.

===Yoshi-Koopa War I===

The Yoshis rallied together, and defended from the Koopa attack. The battle was fierce, and cost many lives on both sides. In the end, however, the Yoshis prevailed, pushing back the fleets. The Yoshis launched a counter offensive to the Koopa mainland, which ended in a complete failure.

In the next three years, the two engaged in fighting for the Yoshi Islands, both sides having to ally with and fight off other Yoshi tribes. In the end, [[Yoshimire]] was able to unite the Donut Plains under his control, while the Koopa Kingdom still held the outlying islands near their territory. This is when Subsourian devised a plan.

Through the course of the war, Subsourian, who was now one of two Supreme Generals who advised [[Yoshimire]], had developed some primitive magi-technology. Two of his inventions turned the tide of the war. One was the mass portal network, with the ability to take in multiple people at once, allowing for swift army movements. The other was a manafire bomb, with the ability to blast through even solid iron, which was unheard of at the time.

While [[Yoshimire]] was beginning to push into the Koopa mainland, Subsourian sent in specialized mages to set up an entry portal near the Koopa's capitol building, the Koopa Keep. Then, Subsourian himself lead in a night raid and detonated several manafire bomb in his castle, destroying the Koopa Keep. However, King Ludwig survived, and pushed his naval forces deeper into Yoshi territory, setting up a Koopa Tower as his main base of operations.

Two more years past, and the war seemed to be going nowhere. However, an event soon came to unite both factions.

===The Starlite Invasion and the Ascension of the Yoshis===

All of this changed around 100 BZ when several technologically advanced transports descended from the sky on the Koopa's territories. They were the Starlites, a hyper advanced race from another world, who had sent a force to scout out Star World for its occupation. The military force took the Koopa Tower, and drove the Koopas away. They, they began to push into Yoshi territory, taking island after island.

In a desperate attempt at victory, the Yoshis and the Koopas allied together. They were still outclassed by superior weapons that rivaled even modern timeline weapons. However, what the allied factions lacked in technology, they made up in magic. The Yoshis and Koopas had managed to hold off the Starlite advance on a single naval base held by the Yoshis. After the victory, however, the Starlites managed to launch a nuclear missile on the island, completely annihilating it and its occupants. With such sheer power, the Yoshis and Koopas were demoralized.

However, drawn to this incident were the Axis, an alliance of worlds devoted to destroying the Starlites. With the Starlite presence strengthening on Star World, the Axis supported the Yoshis and the Koopas in their assault. In the end, the Elite fortress island was destroyed, and their presence was pushed off of Star World. In the final battle, however, the Yoshi ruler, [[Yoshimire]], mysteriously went missing. No one knows his fate to this day.

After the battle, the Yoshis and the Koopas were offered massive advancements in technology if they would ally with the Axis and aid their war effort. The Koopas refused, not wanting any more to do with the war. The Yoshis, now under the rule of Subsourian, took the offer. Subsourian, however, was unpopular among many of the allied tribes, due to him not being a Yoshi himself. He offered the tribes a choice to stay on the planet or leave in space, and colonize a new world. Out of the twelve tribes united under his rule, three took the offer.

The Yoshis were horded aboard Axis ships, and sent into space. The tribes that abandoned their homeworld were deemed "Dark Yoshis," a term that stuck with them through their legacy. This would not be the last time they would see Star World, however.

==The Reign of Subsourian==

===The Settling of Greenflame===

Around the year 150, the Axis granted the Yoshi Tribes a planet to settle on. This was a largely barren plot of land on the fringe of the known universe, known as Tarsonis. This was an oxygen rich planet, though filled with psychotically sensitive hostile creatures. Subsourian ordered the ships to settle near an ocean, and began to found a metropolis with the help of the Axis. Within ten years, the city of Greenflame was fully functional, and a crown jewel on a barren tract of space.

The Yoshi race, unknowing of democratic leadership, crowned Subsourian as their new Emperor, a role he did not take lightly. There, he sought to help the Dark Yoshis establish a new life, using Tarsonis's large mineral reserves to trade with the Axis.

The Yoshis were not the only race in Greenflame. After several years, the Durians, a race distantly related to the Zoras of Hyrule, sought new a homeland, as their planet was destroyed by the Starlites. Subsourian set up a large aquatic sector of Greenflame. A mass influx of Durians swept in, making them the second largest ethnicity in the city.

Subsourian then fufilled his side of the bargain to the axis, and formed a massive army out of the Yoshis he had, known as the Imperial Forces. The Imperials were not many in number like most of the races in the Axis, but developed amazing magi-technology, such as the Nightwind, Subsourian's first capitol ship, and the Metal Titans, which were thought to all have been destroyed until recently. Subsourian appointed [[Gigey Foxer]] and [[Mia Takahashi]] to lead the Imperials, and even set off into battle on his own in some circumstances.

===The Axis Wars===

Not much is known on the Axis wars, other than it had spanned since nearly 1000 BZ, when the Starlites first obtained space travel and the ability to conquer other worlds. Their leader, Skylar Luyez, an egotistical creature who's life span far exceeded the war. He sought to bring the entire universe under his rule, and for the time, he had the resources to do it.

It was about this time the Vhozons were recovering from their near annihilation by the Necrons, preventing them from stepping in. Also weakened at this point were the [[Celestial Architects]], whose numbers were dwindling close to extinction near the rise of the Starlites. Due to the Chozo's nonviolent nature, and the Starlite's distance from them, conflict between the two was minimal. With no powers in their way, the Starlites would have trampled through the universe. However, invaded planets banded together, forming the Axis, with the express purpose of blocking the Starlite advance.

The Imperials contributions in the field of arcane studies were immense. Several battles documented showed old tribal spells created by Yoshis back on Star World being used in battle. Also documented were the massive Battlecruiser warships, and the five Metal Titans created by the Imperial force.

The Axis pushed back the Starlites to their home world of Starel, and proceeded with a land invasion. Subsourian himself headed the attack in his capitol ship, the Nightwind II. The battle was an immense failure, almost costing Subsourian his life as well as the lives of millions of others.

Starel did fall about three years later, when their Luyez was assassinated by one of his own officers and the entire empire broke into civil war. The Axis took this chance to strike, and cleared up the remaining forces. However, by this time, the Dark Yoshis were having problems of their own.

===The Second and Third Yoshi-Koopa Wars===

While the Axis wars began to draw to a close, Subsourian wondered what became of the Yoshi's homeworld of Star World. He sent scouts back to the planet to discover what had become of the tribes that stayed. The scouts reported a grim realization: King Ludwig von Koopa I, who had been prolonging his life by use of his mages, had reclaimed several Starlite weapons and began to use them on a conquest of Yoshi's Island. Subsourian acted instantly, sending in Imperial troops to Star World under General [[Mia Takahashi]] to quell the imbalance of power.

The Koopas, though equipped with high technology, had very little experienced in it's use. Subsourian first ordered the destruction of their moon base, and then focused in on King Ludwig's stronghold, the jungle island of Keyhaul Key. General [[Takahashi]] bombed the island with napalm charges, destroying Ludwig's massive naval force in one fell stroke. Ludwig and his officers just barely escaped, and called for a ceasefire. The King then made his way inland, his naval power crushed.

Two years later, however, Subsourian struck at the Koopa Empire's mainland, eager for revenge for past crimes of the king. The Imperials managed to make it to their new underground base camp, before another event called them back to Tarsonis.

Ludwig's Starlite technology was destroyed, and the Koopa Empire reeled in defeat for centuries to come. The anti-Yoshi sentiment between the two only grew as King Ludwig passed on, and his decedents took up the throne. However, the Emperor was having throne issues of his own.

====Subsourian vs [[Sneezier]]====

Between the time of the ceasefire and the third Yoshi-Koopa war, the terms between the Koopa Empire and the Imperial Yoshis were distant, and yet the two kept in contact. One specific event happened in this time that changed the two leader's perspective of their world forever.

Crown Prince Ludwig, from the modern times, had taken a time machine created by Egad and went back in time to rally two famed leaders to their cause. He deceived them both, making them believe that the Koopa Kingdom was on the brink of extinction, and Mushroom Kingdom was invading the remainder of the world. Subsourian and Ludwig put aside their differences for the period, came came back with the Crown Prince to help him.

Their orders were simple: they were to hold a space station against the invading armies. The station, unbeknown to the two, was a superweapon targeting Yoshitroplis. Mexous Sniffin Sneezier and a young Yoshi named PB were sent in to disarm this weapon, and faced Subsourian in combat. Though close, Sub was faced with far superior technology, and was defeated. Crown Prince Ludwig was later to follow, allying with his future counterpart to kill off Sneezier.

Then, Bowser revealed his plan, unknowingly overheard by Sub and Ludwig. Sneezier and PB fought Bowser, but was losing, until the two stepped in on their side, destroying the station. The two were thought to be dead at the time, but escaped back to the past in Egad's time machine, promptly destroying it to ensure no more tampering with the past.

===The Foxer Coup and Exile===

Back on Tarsonis, year 500, Subsourian's growing power was unnerving many below him. Several attempts were made on his life, none successful. Until one of the most powerful men in the Empire decided to make a grab for his seat.

While his forces were away, and Sub was alone at his throne, General [[Foxer]] took his Honor Guard and caused a riot in the city. General [[Foxer]] himself faced Emperor Subsourian in combat, almost defeating him. However, as an act of kindness, he allowed him to leave with a group of loyalists. Sub boarded the Nightwind III, allowing to crew to go into cold sleep. [[Gigey Foxer]] disabled Sub's hyperdrive, and sent him on a long exile.

There, Subsourian drifted in space, his loyalists in cold sleep. He remembered Star World, a land the Imperials had forsaken, and slowly began to drift toward the planet with what little he had.

Eventually, the Nightwind III encountered a COUE vessel. The Confederation pirates ordered them to be boarded, but Sub refued, firing on them. Eventually, the [[Yoshi Bodyguards]] intervened, saving the Nightwind III. Subsourian was grateful, and, knowing some of the members from the time travel incident, was offered to join. Unknowing of anything else in the strange, new universe, Subsourian and his crew were all honorary [[Yoshi Bodyguards]].

==Service in the [[Yoshi Bodyguards]]==

===Pre-Dark Age and the Rise of the Clone Army===

Sub's service before the Dark ages was scattered, and many times, away from the primary group of [[Yoshi Bodyguards]]. Sub worked hard against the COUE and Darkcorp remains, organizing Yoshi regiments to fight against their fleets. His actual battle service was limited, though when he did get the chance to actually fight, he was in he thick of battle, sometimes battling General Mysertio himself.

Then, on the planet [[Yoth]], Supreme Commander [[Mack]] unleashed a new weapon to turn the tide. The Yoshi Bodyguard Clone Army was in motion, and, though the battle for Yoth was a failure, Subsourian and Sneezier built upon this newly founded clone army with their magi and tech skills. Sub, in particular, trained a majority of newer clones in combat arts, even producing some magi regiments of his own, as well as a personal honor guard, Dark Squadron.

Using parts of Mexous's Cyber Bell Vanguard fund, Subsourian also ordered the creation of a new fleet for the clone army. Several obsolete SWD and Cyber Bell Vanguard captiol ships were reconditioned and refitted with better weapons and armor, including Subsourian's own Nightwind III, remade into the Nightwind IV.

For a while, all seemed at peace. The COUE battles began to turn to their favor, Darkcorp had been all but wiped out, and the [[Yoshi Bodyguards]] became a force to rival the very Star World Defensive Forces.

Then Subsourian was tested with his greatest challenge yet.

===The Dark Ages===

When the Yoshi Bodyguard's primary leader, Yoshilier, was killed by his son, Summer, and hell broke loose. The remaining Yoshi Bodyguards scattered from the headquarters, going to different sections of the universe. Subsourian stayed behind to defend the Headquarters, when a demon attack overran the clone fortifications. In a last ditch effort, Subsourian fell back to a warp portal Sneezier had created, and set it to overload. The resulting explosion leveled part of the YB Headquarters, and destroyed many an invader.

Sub and the remaining clones ended up on a unknown ice world, searching for s crystal capable of destroying demonic manifestations. They were able to take the mine, when Space Pirates captured Sub and his group. They were thrown on slaver vessels, and disarmed. Sub activated the emergency signal in his PS, but the remaining YBs were too caught up in their own affairs to respond. Seeing no hope, Sub allied himself with an alien race also enslaved, the Lost, in order to escape. Sub and the Lost High Templar Trema both managed to liberate a Lost carrier, and almost escaped, when the Space Pirates brought in reinforcements.

However, in the nick of time, ARC Yoshililer and the Nightwind IV, along with two other capitol ships, moved in. The group had broken from their evacuation pattern to help Sub. Sub accepted their aid, and, with his new fleet, headed straight back to Star World.

Subsourian first began to set up base camp at the edge of a demon portal in the remains of the Koopa Mainland, hoping to stem Vaufendor's influence on the world. Sub held out against the first few waves of abominations that came from the portal, when Fazar noticed his presence. He launched a massive energy attack, devastating Subsourian and Trema's men. The Yoshi Bodyguard remains were forced to fall back.

However, Sub was not done. He moved into the ruins of Yoshioplis , and a fierce battle against Fazar's Black Dragonflight ensued. In the end, Sub had taken the destroyed city for his own. First, he attempted to break the dimensional barrier between Fazar's realm and his own existence, but failed, instead unleashing a demon wave on his own base. Sub then decided it would be best to track down the remaining Yoshi Bodyguard members, though with the HQ gone, the PS tracking systems would not function as usual. Sub had to rely on what radar they had,and noted a presence of [[Yoshi Bodyguards]] in a forest on the Mushroom Kingdom mainland. He wasted no time, and dispatched the Nightwind IV along with several search parties and assault teams to the forest, in hopes to save some of Star World's heroes.

Sub sent out several recon teams, himself heading the primary one, and set the Nightwind IV above the forest. His group first encountered Mexous Sneezier, who told him he was fine, but could not help him due to issues he was dealing with on his own. Sneezier warned him of the COUE presence on Star World before vanishing. Sub found traces of other members, but the only other Yoshi Bodyguard that was found was Comet, who was near death from poisoning and injuries. Sub took him back to the Nightwind IV, just as a recon team uncovered the location of Anubis, heir to the Yoshi Bodyguard leadership, in engagement with Fazar. Sub took this opportunity to strike, and just before Anubis was to be defeated, Sub airdropped several armored mechs to the location. Fazar and Anubis were both teleported away at the last second by Vaufendor, leaving Sub alone. Comet was brought back to health, but wanted to continue on with a mission of his. Sub granted him a small stuntfighter, and let him go off.

Back at Yoshioplis, Sub encountered a massive dark energy signature. Fearing the worst, Sub evacuated his forces to orbit. Just then, the Titans summoned themselves, releasing an energy that eroded away all metal. Subsourian's forces attempted to bombard the demonic entities from orbit, but no avail. Sub and Trema both decided to go in ceramic drop pods, and went down to face the Titans with a team of Lost warriors. On the surface, Sub met with Scorch, who was helping a refugee hub in it's defense. Scorch tagged along, telling Sub of a Fazar sighting west of them. Sub met with Anubis and a near death Fazar once again, but this time with the demon Vaufendor. Sub was to deliver the killing blow to Fazar, when Anubis stopped him, and asked him to leave. Sub obliged, saying he had a larger target, and warning Vaufendor that he would "cut the puppet from his strings." Sub and Trema then went to face the Titans themselves.

At first, the battle went as planned. Trema redirected the Titan's attacks to one another using psychic shields, and Sub struck at the weakened Titans. However, all of that changed when the Titans merged. A single blast of the combined Titan's power tore through the Lost defenders, and killed Trema. Sub, seeing no other option, unleashed a full Ereshkigal on the Titans. The blast was massive, and crippled the combined Titan, but put Sub to the very brink of death. Scorch carried Sub back to the refugee camp, where he did not wake until Anubis killed the Titans, Vaufendor, and the Eater of Worlds. Afterward, he was found by the SWD forces that secured the caravan, and taken to a military hospital.

===Post-Dark Ages and Reformation of the Yoshi Bodyguards===

Sub was put in intensive care for a long period after the Dark Ages, and eventually came out of the strain induced coma he was put in. However, he was still weakened, and for a time, would break down into coughing fits at random moments, with only a special potion to ease his pain. However, Sub was able to return to a reformed Yoshi Bodyguards, and saw to the founding of New Yoshioplis.

In later missions, such as the fight against the demon-form of Anubis, Sub provided air support and transportation, though too weak to actually participate in battle. It wasn't until Phazon hit Star World that Sub came back into action, fighting off several infestations of the substance, including a reformed Titan.

Sub had missed several other encounters with enemies in favor of reforming the clone army, which was all but destroyed in the Dark Ages. With the help of Sneezier and Scorch, Sub brought the army back up to strength, and began to bring the fight back to the COUE, which remained even after its defeat in the Dark Ages. Sub first tested the new army on Pokeworld, when Team Rocket began to play a trump card against the local population by mutating Pokemon, with results such as Dark Danny.

Sub really came back into action when Anubis came to Hyrule, a Federation no-tech zone. Sub was delayed due to political issues, but flew in to meet the group before they went to their doom on Koholint Island, the fabled island of dreams. In the process, Sub was hit by a storm, and crashed into the ocean. Sub contacted Sunset through a spirit transfer, but was cut off when the massive beast, Angler, devoured his ship. He was freed by the Yoshi Bodyguards on the island, and helped gain back the instruments, fighting a mirror image of himself in the process. In the end, Fazar was once again defeated, and Sub escaped with the rest of the Yoshi Bodyguards.

===Years of Chaos===

After Sub came back to Star World, there was very little time he was not busy with a mission. First, bounty hunters of the Federation raided the Yoshi Bodyguard Headquarters. Sub defended the building, and teamed up with Federation hero Samus Aran in investigating a strange reading in the Alimbic Cluster. Sub and Scorch faced down the bounty hunters, and finally fought against Gorea. Then, when a strange shadow descended on Star World and caused an illusion of the Koopa Keep attacking Star World, Sub took to the defensive, holding the HQ against the illusions.

Sub then fought on Pokeworld again, defeating Team Rocket's genetic manipulation activities with the strong fist of the clone army. Sub then was warned of a Chozo derelict floating outside of Star World, and ended up on a massive prison world on a collision course with Star World. The prison harbored a fusion of the Metroid and X parasites, as well as the mad Chozo who created them. Sub and the Yoshi Bodyguards set the core to overload, and evacuated the planet with a Federation garrison.

When Sub returned to Star World, he found that a strange group of beings from Sneezier's future had invaded with force. Sub worked with the SWD and the Yoshi Bodyguards to fight the Plasmocs back, activating the Ion Cannon Defensive Network to destroy several of their ships before their soldiers became possessed with a demonic presence. However, the Yoshi Bodyguards were more than a match for the demons, and Sub himself aided in it's defeat.

Sub participated in a smaller known event where an online game began to manipulate reality, but was called away for issues against the COUE. It had turned out that the Federation had acted against Mysterio with the help of Coshi and Plasshi, and defeated their forces on Ryshi. Sub was ready to withdraw the clone army, when something had hit the universe.

A something that would cause more bloodshed than any war in history.

===The Metal Wars and Chaos Abounds===

As soon as the [[Metal Army]] struck the universe, the Yoshi Bodyguard Clone Army was mobilized, as well as the SWD and Federation forces. Sub himself had convinced the core Yoshi Bodyguards to help him escort a group of scientists to the location of a fallen Metal Titan from the Starlite period. After fighting through Ork, Metal Army, and Necron alike, and after a short alliance with the Vhozon, the Yoshi Bodyguards had finally claimed the Metal Titan as their own.

Afterward, Sub participated in several frontline skirmishes in the Metal Wars before being called back to Star World. Several factions had allied, and sections of Star World were put under eternal night, where they were mind controlled as they slept. Sub fought off what forces he could, but was shortly overrun. Top then came in with the rest of the Yoshi Bodyguards, and the group raided the villain's fortress, very nearly being defeated, but saved at the last second by an unknown force.

Soon after, Sub returned to the frontlines of the war, fighting in the Second Battle of Finichia, holding back the Metal Army from the Metal Titan. He then pushed to Sol, where he was almost killed when his Pelican crashed into the lava surface of the planet. Sub teleported out, and the force fell back.

Sub was then called back to support the Yoshi Bodyguards in a legal manner, having a large say in the politics involving the Yoshi Bodyguards. Subsourian was called to hold a trail of Topmonhit, who was accused to theft of several powerful relics. Top was found guilty, but both Sub and Top's Lawyer realized the jury was under a mind control. After a long journey, Sub himself helped face down Cackletta and restore the jury to their proper mindset.

Sub didn't return to the frontlines this time, however, as a stint with the chaos emerald caught his attention. Sub and the Yoshi Bodyguards hunted down Grodus and the X-Nauts, teething the chaos emeralds from their grasp. Sub and Top then took a group to find one hidden in the Pit of 100 Trials, retrieving it. Sub was to be shipped back to the frontlines, when an icy plague came over Star World, putting the planet in an Ice Age. Sub aided the Yoshi Bodyguards in finding their fallen comrade, Sneen, in Underwhere, and restoring balance to Star World's ecosystem. Sub was then called away to defend the Yoshi Bodyguards for their actions on Chronis, unsuccessful as he may of been. As a result, the Counsel mandated that the Yoshi Bodyguards be merged with the SWD after Mekkai was secured and the Metal Army defeated.

===The Last Yoshi Bodyguards===

The last mission of the Yoshi Bodyguards involved Coshi's homeland, which was invaded by a Plasshi immitation. The situation became sticky after Ryshi almost decided to declare war on Star World, and the Bugato Islands demanded the death of Plasshi. However, Sub rooted out the problem of Neo-COUE Porthexes, and balance was restored. However, shortly after, Top, Oshy and Topper left the Yoshi Bodyguards, causing everyone to go their separate ways. Subsourian, Scorch, Mexous, Sally, Coshi and Plasshi had decided to stay, holding devotion to the clone army and the mechas that still served.

This did not stop Sub from serving with old friends, and after a mission in the Upper Stream of Federation Space, Sub supported several former Yoshi Bodyguards in a raid on Bowser's Castle, but was defeated by Iggy Koopa. Sub then reappeared only to help Top fight off Lord Crump's mecha, but had to leave after a incident at Renton caused him to be called away.

Sub lead in Renton's defense, where a Metal Army fleet sought to break through while the shipyards of Renton were disabled. Sub drove them back, and mandated a new shipyard be build with better defenses for a surprise attack. Sub then returned to Star World for a wedding of Vivian and Noshum in the Shadow Dimension, and when things went awry, Sub acted quickly, using his dark powers to destroy the Crystal Ztar, and locate the shards across the world. In the end, Sub cast a small Ereshikigal on the possessed Noshum, freeing him from the Ztar's control.

Once again, Sub returned to the frontlines of the war, raiding several planets in the Mobius sector that were infested with the Metal menace. He took command of a garrison there, and drove the Metal Army's last bastion of the Zinc and Cobalt back out of the system and into Lylat. Sub then left the garrison there, and returned to Star World after he had heard Top had inherited an entire Kingdom.

Sub aided Top in military matters, when the Kingdom of Shiver Star was invaded by it's neighbors. Sub, unfortunately, could not devote Yoshi Bodyguard forces away from the primary threat of the Metal Army. The kingdom fell, but Sub transported the diamond away from enemy forces before they could obtain them.

In pursuit of the mysterious Cloud, Sub and Sneezier sent in a force for Operation: Cloud Hunt. The operation failed, and Sub's forces were withdrawn with no casualties. However, he has come one step closer to finding the Cloud, and using it's power for the benefit of Star World.

==War's End and a Temporary Peace==

Sub aided Team TOT in an operation against an unknown military faction operating in the Mobius Sector (recognized as the DPC later). He beat back Metal Top, and returned the Master Emerald into it's proper place. Almost immediately after, he was called back to defend Star World from a Metal Army attack, where he lead an assault on a Mantra Class Dreadnaught with [[Dark Squadron]]. Sub lost his PS in that battle, when [[Whirl]] attempted to contact him due to [[Slike's|Slike]] assault. The Mantra was destroyed, and [[Sub]] headed with Sneezier to destroy the Metal Army at Mekkai. Sub lead the eastern attack, moving to Mekkai's palace while retrieving [[Tron]], the inside agent in the attack. In the process, Sub found a strange egg, which he named Shem, and adopted. Sub helped in the final battle against Metal Sneezier and Ultra Stuffwell, using the energy from organic life to overcharge his capacity for Dark Mana, allowing him to kill Ultra Stuffwell.

Sub could not rest, however. He was then called out to deal with the X-Naut uprising in the Tetra Galaxy, for they were using the Ultimate AI to attack Federation Space. However, when he arrived, the Metal Army under Omega had taken the AI, and the X-Naut fleet, under Grodus, and a animated fleet under Conrad had come to exact vengeance. His fleet engaged the Metal Army, but after a while, the two other intervened, attacking Sub and his fleet. In the end, [[Litera]] battled Sub, beating him back and destroying the Wizard Gundam. Sub was forced to jump into hyperspace, and retreat.

However, when he jumped, he ended up in an unknown sector of the Tetra Galaxy. His fleet reported strange energy readings from an uncharted moon, so Sub decided to investigate. Once there, he entered a strange energy shield that housed a human colony, as well as strange purple crystals. The humans went insane at the sight of Sub and his group, and after a firefight, Sub discovered the crystals held a variety of creatures, including a Necron and a Yoshi. However, he also discovered a Morph, his race once thought to be extinct. Then, the master of the facility, an unknown god, spoke to him telling him that he created this new breed of Morph, and there was nothing that could be done to stop their uprising. With very little left to do, Sub returned to his fleet.

Sub returned to Star World, only to be caught in the defense of Star World from the DPC. He organized the counter offensive when they were cut off, and helped use the remaining defenders that were not away on Post-Metal War missions to break the DPC's power base in Diamond City. He then was key in planning the assault on the Dark Perforation's Castle, where he took the Nightwind IV to aid the defense from the Dark Perfoation's fleet. Sub then dueled [[Minorbu]], hoping to avenge his tactical defeat on Shiver Star. Sub did manage to kill him, but was horridly wounded in the process, and unable to help in the final battle.

Sub recovered, and hearing stories of the Cloud, took his specailized Stormhunter Regiment on another dimensional mission. This time, the Stormhunters has found evidence of a great power hiding in another world. Thinking it was the Cloud, who had recently appeared to the remaining Yoshi Bodyguards, Sub himself lead the Stormhunters to this dimension, encountering [[Eli]] and his group. Sub then devised a plan. He would use their group to lead them to the Cloud, using the Stormhunter's stealth technology to tail them. After they found it, he would arrest Eli's group, and take the power for Star World. However, he failed to capture Eli or the power, and was sent back to Star World.

Though Sub has served for many millennium, Sub does not plan to retire, even as the Yoshi Bodyguards merge with the SWD. He still feels as though it is his honor bound duty to protect Star World from any threat, and stands firm in its defense. However, the recent reappearance of Morphs unnerves him still.

==Personality==

Subsourian is a very serious character, looking at a situation from the logical perspective of things. He can be sharp and cruel, but is very caring of allies. However, due to his age, he comes across as cocky and all knowing, which sometimes gets him into trouble. Sub is very intelligent, which makes up for his lack of raw strength. He cannot stand negligence, which is why he dislikes characters such as Blizzard and Koop.

Sub has different views on relationships and death than other members of teh Yoshi Bodyguards. Having lived for four thousand years, Sub sees any attempt at a relationship feudal, and pointless. He has stated before that he doesn't feel true love like mortals do, though it was said that he did have a relationship back when he was emperor. Sub's opinion's on death came out when he saw Sneen's demise. Due to seeing everyone he knew for the past four thousand years die, Sub is somewhat used to the death of friends, and his ability to shake it off so fast almost makes him seem uncaring. However, the millions of deaths he has sen through his years continues to haunt him.

==Abilities==

Sub is a very powerful Dark Druid, and revered as an Arch-Magi. He knows thousands of spells from his four thousand years of study. He usually fights using magic, but does have a pistol as a last resort weapon. Sub's greatest gift is his tactical mind. Many times, outnumbered and outgunned, Sub has turned the tide of battle. He also is very handy with a single handed sword, and still wields his blade, Lunari, into battle. As a last resort, Sub can also produce dragon-like wings, but only after having used a certain number of spells.

Sub's total collection of spells is rather large, contained in the Yoshi Bodyguard library. These are the spells he leeks in his spellbook, the Twilight Lexicanium. Many other, more common spells he can use without his spellbook.

===Final Smash: Ereshkigal===

If the battle turns for the bad, Subsourian may unleash his ultimate spell, Ereshkigal. The spell starts when Sub summons a great ammount of dark mana, and pulls it all into a set point, sucking up all matter in the surrounding area and condensing it into subatomic particles. When the center of the mass reaches a terminal mass, the center explodes, causing a massive wave of destruction.

Though Sub has used lesser versions of this spell, such as to break the Crystal Ztar, It has only been truly used twice, once to suck him away into the abyss when he was back on Elibe, the other to destroy the legendary Titans. The true spell draws directly from his Quintessense, or binding energy between the soul and the body, and thus leaves him drained and near death.

===Druid Robes===

Since his creation, Sub has had a special garb that allows him to better use magic energy. This garb has been reconditioned many times, and covers up most of his body. However, it contains many pockets and compartments, which allows him to carry many supplies necessary for his spells and his survival. However, it does hinder his ability to move around.

===Twilight Lexicanum===

The Twilight Lexicanum is Sub's spellbook, and the only one of its kind. It is the only spellbook in the universe to contain the full inscription of Ereshkigal, one of the most powerful spells of dark magic. However, it also contains hundreds of other lost spells. The book also contains notes and new spells created by Subsourian himself, and serves as Sub's main weapon.

===Lunari===

Lunari was Sub's sword obtained when he joined the battle in the Starlite Wars, forged by Char Guildmaker, the master smith of a distant Axis planet at the time. It has been infused with hundreds of mythical metals, as well as the blood of Subsourian himself. Thus, Sub is able to not only use it in combat, but channel spells through it as if it were his own hand. Due to Sub's lack of psychical strength, he rarely uses it, however, he does have skill with it, and can deliver very swift strikes for a man of his stature.

===ARC Trooper Pattern Armor===

When Sub is on the battlefield, he is usally in the streamlined shape of ARC Trooper Armor, a special Deznium Alloy that can reflect most weaker attacks. His is custom made from an elemental ore, which allows him to focus defensive spells through it. In it's normal state, it is white with a dark purple trim, but the suit of armor can change color if Sub so wills it, allowing him to blend in to the surrounding area. This effect is partly annulled by the face Sub rarely wears the helmet, preferring instead to "see war through his own eyes."

===Nightwind IV===

The Nightwind IV is Sub's personal battleship, a Command Class Battlecruiser, and classified as a Supercarrier. It is too large to land on a planet, so Sub uses it for high atmospheric or deep space missions, as well as a base of operations for planetary invasions. The first Nightwind was very crude, but contained the first magitech weapons on a starship. The first model was scrapped after two battles by Axis engineers to make way for the Nightwind II, which had more guns and a better reactor, as well as the trademark "hammerhead" appearance. The Nightwind II, however, was destroyed in the battle of Starel. Thus, Sub created the Nightwind III to command his operations in the Second and Third Yoshi-Koopa Wars. When Sub was sent into exile, Gigey disabled the ship's hyperdrives and weapons systems, and sent him into deep space. When Sub joined the Yoshi Bodyguards nearly one thousand years later, Sneezier reconditioned the ship and reformed it's weapon systems with superior technology, thus making the Nightwind IV.

The Nightwind IV contains four A-A Batteries, six Orbital Bombardment cannons, a primary Yamatto Cannon, several magi turrets, and a Dark Mana Cannon, it's weapon of last resort. Aside from weaponry upgrade, Sneezier also adds hanger space to carry fighter craft and mechs. The Nightwind IV has had a near perfect track record, and, when Sub is away, is commanded by ARC Yoshilier, an officer clone who served with Sub in the Dark Ages.

===The Nightmare===

The Nightmare was a Wraith Class Fighter created by Sub for the sole purpose of surface missions where the Nightwind IV could not penetrate. It contained four Gemini Missile pods, three A-G Turrets, and a miniature Mana Cannon. The Nightmare was shot down and destroyed in a battle against Conrad the Conqueror's Fleet. Sub plans to get a replacement ship, but for now, uses Pelican Dropships or the Wizard Gundam from the hanger of the Nightwind IV.

A similar version of the Nightmare was used in Tick Tack Emissary, which assisted Sub in his ground operations. Scorch had a similar Wraith Class Fighter, the Crusader.

The Wizard Gundam is Sub's personal mecha (mobile suit) built by Sneezier, built out of discarded magi technology from the conversion of the Nightwind III to the Nightwind IV. It's also made from leftover parts from the STAR-ORM prototypes. The Gundam contains two beam swords, a mana rifle, and the ability to siphon mana from Sub himself and amplify its power. The Wizard Gundam's interface uplinks with Sub himself, allowing him to fluidly control its motions. The Wizard Gundam is stored in the Nightwind IV, and is Sub's weapon of choice for close quarters deep space battles.

After the battle on Alinos, the first Wizard Gundam was destroyed. This forced Sub to obtain a newer model, one which Sneezier installed a Mana Net Drive, allowing it to tap into invisible mana streams that make up the universe. Though it does not competently take away Sub's reliance on personal mana, it allows him to attack more effectively.

===Commissar's Pistol===

Sub has also requisitioned a pistol standard of SWD political officers. The firepower has been drastically increased, and, due to tinkering by Sneezier, it can now draw from Sub's dark energy presence. Sub has used it as a weapon of last resort, when magic fails him. It requires no ammo, and can charge in any form of light.

===Other Items===

Sub also has, in his possession, many relics and magical artifacts he has hunted in his lifetime. He has given some of them to other Yoshi Bodyguards, such as PB, Sunset, and even Plasshi and Coshi's newborn, Sera.

Sub also has a field medical kit, in case of accidents. He also has a standard Yoshi Bodyguard Platinum Shroom, which is upgraded for Clone Army operations. Sub also has a full array of herbalism vials and herbs, allowing him to create potions at will. This was useful in the period where he required special potions to take him out of the coughing fits that randomly ceased him in the year after the Dark Ages.

==Biology==

Sub is a morph, or a humanoid creature created by dark magic. He is the last of his race, originally thought to have a lifespan shorter than a humanoids due to their unstable nature. Sub is different, however, for when he was sent through the abyss, his body was linked to the dark mana that is required for him to sustain existence. He heals very slowly, much slower than most creatures, but wounds that would scar others for life eventually go away on Sub.

Sub requires no sleep, though it does accelerate his healing and allow him to better use his spells. Many situations, such as [[Plot of Evil Dreams]] have had Sub staying awake for months on end, weakening him immensely, but preventing him from being left open to mind control of ambush.

Sub's blood is an odd liquid. It is still red, but very deep and dark, giving off a black color to it. Many rumors surround the effects of Morph's blood and its magic and healing capabilities, but Sub has never supplied it in large quantities, as it, like his body, regenerates as a slower rate than other beings. Sub's blood cannot be clones, part because Sub himself discourages it, part because his cells are sustained off of a set stream of magic, which cannot be replicated by simple cloning processes.

Sub himself is thin, tall, and wiry. He lacks psychical strength, but makes up for it in raw brainpower. His memory is enormous, but yet is somewhat beginning to fade. His hair is a jet black color, his skin is very pale, and his trademark feature is his bright golden eyes that almost seem catlike in their shine. His lifespan is unknown, but he has lived for four thousand years with very little signs of fading.

==Residence==

Sub has no "permanent" residence as other characters do. However, when he is not in the Yoshi Bodyguard Headquarters or in a field tent, he is aboard the Nightwind IV, which is one of his last possessions from the Imperial days. The Nightwind IV is Sub's only true home that never shifts, and should he decide to quit the Yoshi Bodyguards, there he would stay.

==Scorch==

Scorch has been Sub's clone friend ever since he saved Sub in the Dark Ages. Scorch holds Sub in high respect, and is usually seen on the frontlines with him. Scorch and Sub have recently gone separate ways, Sub attempting to root out the forces that Metal Top serve, Scorch fighting the Metal Army.

==ARC Yoshilier==

ARC Yoshilier is Sub's staff officer, and commander of Dark Squadron. It was ARC Yoshilier who saved Sub and the Lost in the Dark Ages. ARC Yoshilier is only seen on scenes aboard the Nightwind IV, and rarely interacts with other Yoshi Bodyguards.

==[[Top]]==

Top is a close friend of Sub, which is odd, considering Top's personality is opposite of Sub's. However, on many occasions, Sub has abandoned the frontline of war to help Top with his own, personal mission. His quitting saddened Sub, but he continues keep in contact with him, and help in on his missions.

==[[Oshy]]==

Oshy and Sub very rarely speak directly to each other, which is odd, considering how alike they are. Sub and Oshy still disagree on the military use of the clone army, which has caused a large rift between them. However, they are still allies, and serve as such.

==[[Topper]]==

Sub realizes that Topper distrusts him, and cannot figure out why. Sub has no personal cause against Topper, and respects him as a valuable ally as well as a powerful fighter. Sub gladly serves with Topper whenever the situation calls for action, and supports him whenever necessary.

==Noshum==

Sub, in general, dislikes the shadow people due to their service to many enemies of Star World, such as the X-Nauts, the Shadow Queen, and the Shadow King. At first, Sub disliked Noshum due to this, arguing with him in front of his very team. However, in the end, Sub saw Noshum's potential as a dark magic user, and his immunity to it's corrpution, and considers himself on good terms with Noshum.

==Sneezier==

Sub and Sneezier have been close, despite the fact they both fought eons ago when Sub was being tricked by Bowser. Now, Sub and Sneezier are the last commanding Yoshi Bodyguards, and continue to rely on eachother. Sneezier upgrades Sub's equipment with higher tech, while Sub uses magi-technology and enchantments to improve Sneezier's inventions. Both of them serve against the Metal Army.

==Coshi==

Sub and Coshi hold a high respect for eachother, one being a warrior, the other a mage. His help in preventing Plasshi from being executed by Coshi's people has earned him a high regard, while Sub regards him highly just in his willingness to put his life on the line for a complete stranger.

==Plasshi==

Sub and Plasshi used to study together, and Sub taught Plasshi of the three schools of magic. Sub was unable to help Plasshi with the liberation of her homeworld, which still saddens him to this day. Still, even through her childbirth, Sub continues to help train Plasshi and her daughter.

==Sera==

Sub's sees a great potential in Sera, a greater than in a previous student of his. However, he fears for Sera, that she will let the raw magical talent go to her head. He hasn't discussed any of it with Plasshi or Coshi, and continues to train her to use her magical abilities while they are still new.

==Powerbox==

Sub and PB were close simply because of Sub's interactions with Sunset. Both of them use magical arts, and thus Sub continues to help PB, giving him equipment and weapons from ages past to help him.

==Sunset==

Sunset was regarded by Sub as a pupil, who Sub sought to train to succeed him. Sub granted him much training and equipment, and gave him what experience he could. Sunset was showing much promise, when he vanished, and PB went off trying to find him. Sub continues to try to find the secret of Sunset's parents, and trains Sera in his place, but Sera's future continues to remain in question. Recently, Sunset reappeared, but changed. This, too, provides a deal of worry for Sub.

==Pyro==

Sub and Pyro did not get along at first, but the two formed a slow friendship. Sub can look past Pyro's random nature, unless it gets in the way with his operations. Sub lost almost all contact with Pyro after he left the Yoshi Bodyguards.

==Chibi==

Chibi and Sub have a love-hate relationship. Sub dislikes the work ethic of Chibi, and how little she aids the Yoshi Bodyguard effort to defend the universe. Sub has even used Chibi as a weapon when he laxed in battle. However, Sub will reluctantly come to Chibi's aid when she is in danger.

==Max==

Sub knew Max back in the old days of the Yoshi Bodyguards, and the two had some tension between them. Max openly distrusted Sub, and Sub thought Max was a maniac and unfit to be in the Yoshi Bodyguards. However, Sub and Max would put aside their differences for the greater good.

==[[Mack]]==

Sub recalls back as a fierce warrior and good friend. He once commented that Mack was the closest thing this eon had to Yoshimire, the hero of the Imperial Yoshi Empire. When he vanished, Sub was saddened, if not somewhat betrayed. He continues to speak of Mack as one of the finest warriors he had ever met, and speaks his name to the clone army (of whom most can trace their genetic stock to) with reverence.

==[[Katie]]==

Sub never got to really know Katie, but knew the bond between her and MDY was strong. He admired her combat abilities, and was saddened when she vanished.

==Bob==

Bob and Sub occasionally clashed, as Bob was laid back, somewhat uncaring, and Sub was devoted to serving the Yoshi Bodyguards. The two held a mutual respect, though, especially in the latter days of the organization.

==Danny==

Sub and Danny got along well at first, but his constant taunting and gloating annoyed Sub to no end. Sub still helps Danny in his situations on Pokeworld, but other than that, keeps a distance from him.

==King Ludwig von Koopa I==

Sub and King Ludwig were rivals in the ancient days, having three major wars with each other that shaped the landscape of Star World. Both had extreme hatred of one another, although in the latter days, the two were often forced into alliances with one another. Though their hatred ran deep, Sub respected Ludwig as a fierce adversary.

==Crown Prince Ludwig==

The Ludwig of the present, however, Sub sees as a sniveling coward. Sub knows how the new prince works in the shadow of his father, lacking the power to do much of anything. Sub sees him as having no sense of honor or any tactical knowledge of the man he was named from, and thus scoffs him.

==Yoshimire==

Yoshimire was the symbol of everything Sub respected. He lead the Imperial Yoshis to an era of prosperity, and his very presence could turn the tide of many a battle. Sub still speaks of Yoshimire in the highest respect, and as such, this has transferred over to the Clone Army. Many regiments, chants, and symbols are tributes to the great warrior.

==Gigey Foxer===

Foxer was Sub's second in command during the age of the Imperial Yoshis, and one Sub could trust with his life. The two fought, side by side in many battles, and when he became Emperor, Sub placed him as adviser. However, during a key attack, Foxer betrayed him, damning the attack, and forcing Sub into exile. Since then, he has long perished.

==Mia Takahashi==

Mia was another one of Sub's trusted Generals in the age of Imperial Yoshis. She was a frontline soldier, leading her forces to victory time and time again. Sub grew in respect for her, giving her a position of power when Greenflame was established.

==Dark Top==

Sub knew about Dark Top long before even Top did, seeing the dark energy within Top pooling into one mass, wanting physical form. Like all "Mirror images," Sub generally leaves the issue of their defeat to the image's caster, but, like Metal Sneezier, Sub steps in when Dark Top begins to threaten the safety of Star World or civilized life. He is also worried he has not seen the last of Dark Top.

==King Rexor==

Sub has rubbed elbows with King Rexor before, and continues to fight against his armies. Only Oshy probably has more dislike for Rexor than Sub, primarily for the reason that Rexor is a villain on Star World's soil. Sub himself has begged the Council to take action against him, but the Koopa branch blocks any attempt to uproot them from their homeland. Regardless, the Council authorized every attempt to rescue Apricot from Rexor, with very little Koopa resistance, and Sub has spearheaded each of these attacks.

==Slike==

Sub knows very little of Slike, but was defeated by him once when a union of villains outnumbered him. He sees Slike as an egomaniac with a large mech backing, but his competence worries Sub. Sub himself double checked the security of the cryo-chamber Slike was locked in, to ensure he would never escape again.

==Ripvor==

Ripvor and Sub barely know each other, but Sub views Ripvor as an insane terrorist hellbent for vengeance in any way necessary. He feels no mercy for him or his cause, and still is on the lookout for him around the globe. A ransom is placed on his head.

==[[Dark Perforation Crusade]]==

Sub read about the DPC, long ago. He knows the myths and legends surrounding them and their master, Dark Perforation. However, not even Sub was prepared when they revealed themselves in invasion after invasion, taking advantage of the Metal Wars to hit undefended planets. Sub aided in the defense of Star World from their assault, and helped in the battle against The Dark Perforation. Sub himself was defeated by Minorbu, although he attributes it to lack of troops and supplies.

==Metal Top==

Sub saw Metal Top as a threat during the Darkcorp conflict, but now knows of his role in the DPC. Metal Top is no more of a threat to Sub than The Dark Perforation's weakest minion, in his eyes. However, he targets him only because of his past crimes against Star World and his conflict with Top.

==Eli==

Sub only came in contact with Eli during the Area 64 Hostage situation, and found his purpose; to reunite the Yoshi Bodyguards be defeating the leadership of the SWDF. However, Sub knows of his past efforts against the SWDF, especially destroying their fleet at [[Renton]]. He sees him as no more than a terrorist, but is perplexed at the mana-remnant on his body that mirrors the one of Enni.

==Anubis==

Sub and Anubis have always been against each other ever since Sub came close to killing Fazar in the Dark Ages. Anubis has a strong distrust for Sub, and Sub sometimes doubts his leadership skills. Regardless, Sub followed Anubis unquestioningly, even against his own better judgement. When Anubis left, Sub saw it as the end of the Yoshi Bodyguards.

==[[Sneen]]==

Sub always enjoyed Sneen's company, though he knew of his distrust. However, Sub knew he was competent, and fought alongside him, even after his death. At Sneen's death, oddly enough, Sub was one of the lesser impacted, stating that he had seen the death of almost everyone else he knew, and Sneen was no different.

==Koop and Blizzard==

Both Koop and Blizzard are the bane of Sub's existence. Their random nature, and complete disregard for the severity of the situation they are in prevents Sub from liking them in any way. Sub keeps his distance from the two, but is sometimes forced to help him.

==Tron==

Despite Tron's personality, Sub likes Tron a lot. He has great respect for his staying in the Yoshi Bodyguards after it's breakup (however unintentional) and sends him on missions of great importance. He thinks that behind his somewhat idiotic appearance lies a more intelligent creature.

==Enni==

Sub knows very little about Enni, but respects her in her willingness to help. He is saddened that he could not do much about her mission, but gave her what information he could on the last YBs. He is perplexed at the mana-remnant that surrounds her body.

==Whirl==

Sub has respect for Whirl's intelligence, and knows of his relationship with Evelyn, which gives him a bit of amusement. He thinks of Whirl as a capable fighter, and knows of his feats in the Yoshi Bodyguards, even though Sub and Whirl were always fighting on different fronts during their service together.

==Litera==

Sub has no idea how Litera survived their first encounter on Star World's moon, but was shocked to hear that his Cosmic form survived. Litera defeated Sub on Alinos, destroying his Wizard Gundam. Sub is now on the lookout for Litera, hoping to destroy him, but knowing that finding him will be incredibly tough and resource intensive. Thus, he has not let his desire for vengeance drive him to hunt him down.

==[[Lucky]]==

Sub remembers Lucky from long ago, but really never developed a true friendship with him. He knows he is a capable fighter, and a good person, but not much more than that.

==Metal Sneezier==

Metal Sneezier is the current target of Sub, but Sub does not regard him as the primary threat. Sub will constantly taunt Metal Sneezier, and after Operation: Cloud Hunt, Sub sees Metal Sneezier as a figurehead, and sees the real power of the Metal Army as somewhere else.

==Ultra Stuffwell==

Ultra Stuffwell is what Sub sees as a true threat, and the true power behind the Metal Army. Sub regards him as the single greatest threat to the universe, and has set bounties on his head and rewards to anyone who has any information on him.

==[[Hey You]]==

During Operation: Cloud Hunt, Subsourian and Sneezier were sent into the Cloud's alternate universe to seek it's power. In the end, it was Hey You who took the power away from the Yoshi Bodyguards, and prevented it from being used to benefit Star World. Sub has despised Hey You ever since, nearly taking violent actions against him. His random nature also is a sharp annoyance to Sub, but he still has fought beside him when it was necessary.

==The Cloud==

Sub is intrigued by the Cloud, and wants to study its power for use to keep peace in the universe. Sub sees the Cloud as irresponsible and uncaring, and hunted him to his own universe twice. The Cloud constantly alludes Sub, and it is not rare for one of them to shoot or throw something at each other when the Cloud appears and vanishes.

=Trivia=

*Subsourian was not always portrayed as a Morph. In his first incarnation in an RP was as a dark blue Goomba, working for the Koopa Keep, which could use magic and had a robot suit. After he defected to the Yoshi Military, Sub was changed through magic to a human, and used the sprite of a orange faction colored "Guy" sprite, from Fire Emblem 7. After that, Sub's backstory was put in full, forming him into a morph. Since Sub lacked recoloring skills, he simply used Nergal's sprite from Fire Emblem 7. Later, he recolored it with blue robes, to resemble the "Knights of the Sky" he lead at the time. The robes color stuck, and is the way it is today.

*The same "Subsourian" came from the way Sub (the user) used to misspell the name of the Subrosian race from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. The misspelling stuck with him, and thus his main RP character was named as such.

*Sub has died twice in his stories, once in the Elite (Starlite) War, the other in a raid against the Zelda Military. Neither of these deaths are counted as canon.

*Sub is the longest running RP character in the Yoshi Bodyguard canon, being active in RPing for five years, namely in the Yoshi Military. Since then, his personality, backstory, and appearance have wildly changed.

The Blackest Days was an [[RP Chronicles]] story on the War of Chronis, the bloodiest battle in known history, and the climax of the [[Metal Wars]]. Nine Armies all collided on one planet, each bent on domination, each willing to give everything they had for their own cause. The story follows the local population, the Freaten, a race distantly related to the Waddle Dees of Popstar, who populated the Star World colony of Chronis, liberated from [[Darkcorp]] by the [[SWDF]]. Each chapter was the defeat of a different race, leading to the defeat of the cursed [[Metal Army| Metal Army's]] Iron Legion, serving a lost demon of the Titans of the Dark Ages.

The battle occurred throughout the month of June 2008, standard Federation Calendar.

The SWD were aided by another unknown Popstarian, and together they sealed Chronis's keyhole and drove away the Heartless.

=Story=

==Prologue: The Fall of Or'Es'Kha==

The story began with Sha'Oreas and Ko'Tan, standing outside the burning gates of the Freaten capitol, Or'Es'Kha. With them, are the remaining Freaten Militia and SWD garrison from the city, as well as a massive convoy of civilians. Ko'Tan, leader of the Freaten Militia, and Captain Vash, leader of the SWD garrison in Or'Es'Kha, met with [[General Birdross]], a SWD General stranded on the planet. Inside the city, Phazon forces were taking over, corrupting the dead bodies of local Freaten and turning them into slaves. Just then, a motorbike streamed from the sky, and crashed into the area who volunteered to help the SWD. So the forces escaped Or'Es'Kha, the last remaining air forces napalm bombing the city as they left.

==Chapter 1: The Green Tide==

The Freaten convoy reached the middle of the continent, where the conflict was turning the landscape into a moonscape of craters. Ko'Tan and Vash agreed that the safest way would be through the southern jungles, which [[Wargutz]] infested. Ko'Tan, Birdross, and Zornt were sent with an Ember Team to disarm the Ork base. At the same time, Hi-Lord Gelvin sent a Iron Legion champion, Babi, with a large strike force to destroy the Ork base. Just as the Freaten force came in, the Metal Army struck, giving the Freaten a chance to battle [[Wargutz]]. Wargutz was beaten, but activated a nuclear warhead that desimated the Ork base and the surrounding area. [[Wargutz]] and the SWD/Freaten were able to escape, but the Metal Army and the remaining Orks were destroyed in the blast. [[Wargutz]] escaped the planet in a hidden Ork ship when the battle was nearing it's end, and the Freaten convoy moved onward.

==Chapter 2: Crump's Crusade==

The Freaten convoy made it to the outskirts of Victory Bay, when it was ambushed by a Yoshi Bodyguard force. In the end, Commissar Banir and Captain Kooplass came in to ward them off, informing them that the Yoshi Bodyguards had undergone Order Exterminatis, and would purge all military force from the world. Commissar Banir then informed them of the X-Naut presence in the area. Elsewhere, Lord Crump uncovered a massive stone relic, which spoke to him, though he ignored it. Just then, the SWD attacked, devastating his artillery, but he brought out cloaked snipers when the SWD were in position. Then, the SWD took their communication's tower, allowing them access to the locations of their snipers. They cleared the way to Lord Crump, and destroyed his headquarters. Lord Crump swore revenge on all of the armies of Chronis, then retreated to orbit. Later, the Metal Army would raid the X-Naut base, and take the stone relic under orders of Hi-Lord Gelvin.

==Chapter 3: Into the Icy Abyss==

The SWDF returned to Victory Bay, where Governor-General Lucas Alexander greeted them. He told them of the Yoshi Bodyguard's Order Extermanatis, the order from their command to pacify all military forces on the planet, including the SWDF, who could not back down due to orders from their own command. He also informed them of the Vhozon Mothership preventing a civilian evacuation. Just then, Samus's ship crashed down into Victory Bay. She was saved, and offered to help destroy the Vhozon. So the SWD went to the Northern Ice Sheet, home of the Vhozon ground forces and their warpgate to their mothership. The SWDF landed in the ice sheet, and battled several traitor Iron Legion forces before reaching the Vhozon. They battled Farseer Maythes, who managed to push them back, until the Yoshi Bodyguards arrived and bombed the base. Then, the SWD made a push for the warpgate, setting a nuclear charge inside it, and delivering it to their mothership. The mothership was damaged, but not destroyed, until Alexander, back at Victory Bay, ordered the Hellfire Cannon, a relic from the days of Darkcorp, to be fired. The blast destroyed the mothership, and the civilian convoy was evacuated successfully. The Vhozon were stranded, and one by one, killed off through the war.

==Chapter 4: Death's Locust==

As the SWD returned, they found that the entire central part of the core contient had been overrun by [[Necrons]]. It seemed that the Vhozon were keeping them at bay through Soulice on their mothership. The SWD were shot down by a Necron Monolith, but were recovered by an assault team lead by Commisssar Gebit, who were to use a warhead left from the assault on the Vhozon to collapse the caverns the Necrons were spawning out of, destroying their energy core. The group entered, encountering converted Metal Army mechs and Necron abominations. They also fought a champion of one of the twin hearts, Gazu R who's now a Mecha Paraiah. They fought him then face the Necron Lord. They desabled him and eventually facing the Nightbringer. The bomb was detonated, and the caverns all collapsed. The Necrons on the surface, now without power, shut down, dying off. Now, without the Deznium Mines, the original purpose for the battle had ended, but all factions continued to fight on.

==Chapter 5: In the Darkest Night==

When the SWD/Freaten returned to Victory Bay, Governor Alexander informed them of a strange energy signature coming from the Green Coast, former home of Wargutz's WAAGH. The SWD reached the outpost set there, finding it overrun by a strange breed of creatures called Heartless. They fought their way to the crater of Wargutz's bomb, where they encounted a Popstarian named Cel. They battled him, and were about to lose, when an unknown Popstarian, armed with a keyblade, helped the SWD defeat him, and sealed the "planet's keyhole" hidden in the center of the crater. Just as morning broke, the SWD/Freaten got news that the Yoshi Bodyguards had launched an attack on Victory Bay.

==Chapter 6: The Fall of Victory Bay==

The SWD/Freaten rushed back to Victory Bay, hoping to evacuate Governor-General Alexander and Ethereal Sha'Oreas before the base was overrun. Their ships were shot down by Yoshi Bodyguards upon entering the city, but the group reformed on Commissar Gebit's position, which held against the Yoshi Bodyguards until several psychic operatives began to go insane from the Metal Army's tampering with Demonic magics. The SWD/Freaten group battled one in it's own pocket dimension, defeating him. Just then, a sniper killed Commissar Gebit, and the men of his company began to turn on themselves for one last effort. the SWD/Freaten under Ko'Tan fell back to the central plaza, where Commissar Banir was holding out with his Metal Slug Godslayer. The group reached the Command Post, where Sha'Oreas and Alexander were, and held out for some time, until a stray bullet hit Alexander in the throat, killing him. Just then, Commissar Banir came in with several transports, and got Sha'Oreas, Ko'Tan, and the remaining SWD to safety. At the Hellstorm Cannon, Captain Vash saw his forces being overrun, and overloaded the core of the cannon, killing himself and a large group of attacking Clone Troopers, and preventing the Hellstorm Cannon from being used against them. The remaining SWD at Victory Bay were shipped back to orbit by order of the Yoshi Bodyguards, and treated fairly, however, a good fourth of the Liberators were with Ko'Tan and Banir, and were ready for vengeance.

==Chapter 7: Return to Or'Es'Kha==

Sha'Oreas first ordered that a base of operations was needed before the attack could be continued. Dark Danny's Phazon force, still weak from the Necron attack, and preoccupied with the Yoshi Bodyguards, left their base open to attack. It was discovered in the Necron tide that Phazon could be destroyed by Necron Gauss, and a Freaten Battlesuit was outfitted with a Necron Generator. Ko'Tan lead an attack into Or'Es'Kha, with orders to destroy the Leviathan Seed of the Hades Strain using the outfitted battlesuit. The Freaten/SWD first encountered several Phazon mutants, before breaching the inner walls of the seed and fighting Dark Danny. After a first defeat, Dark Danny formed with a local Freox Monster corpse, as well as a felled Broadside Suit, making him in an Omega form. He was defeated, his body destroyed, but right after the seed's core was destroyed by the Gauss blast, he reformed, just long enough to give the warning, "I'll have my revenge, but your war will do it for me." The seed collapsed, Dark Danny teleported away, and the Hades Strain died off, too complex to survive without a central seed. Or'Es'Kha returned to the control of the Freaten, when Commissar Banir and Sha'Oreas informed the main group that they would be attacking the Yoshi Bodyguard base in the Skullchain Mountains.

==Chapter 8: The Blood of Star World==

The SWD/Freaten, under Ko'Tan, first infiltrated the Yoshi Bodyguard base in Skullchain. First, they commandeered an orbital control station, fighting the Yoshi Bodyguard Librarian Oswin in the process, and ordered the ship overhead to fire on the outlying bases. After the defenses were broken, Commissar Banir pushed the main assault on the Yoshi Bodyguard Stronghold. The SWD/Freaten fought through their defenses, facing Thule himself, who wielded one of Supreme Commander [[Mack's]] lightsabers. He was killed, and the Yoshi Bodyguards bombarded their base in a last ditch effort to bury their secrets, which turned out to be forbidden technology horded in the base. The remaining Yoshi Bodyguards withdrew, leaving the SWD/Freaten to take the technology left.

With one army left, the SWD/Freaten moved what forces they had into the Iron Legion's position.

==Chapter 9: Within the Darkness==

The last of the Star World Defensive Forces and Freaten Militia began to move into the Demos Peninsula. Each of the core team was armed with a piece of hidden Yoshi Bodyguard Technology. Zornt was armed with a Deamonhammer, Ko'Tan with a light mana crystal (which he assimilated into his suit), Birdross with [[Mack's]] Lightsaber, Kooplass with a prototype cannon, Commissar Banir with a modified Metal Slug Godslayer, and Sha'Oreas with a staff of light.

Meanwhile, Gelvin put his plan into full swing. The Iron Legion took Ultra Stuffwell hostage, overpowering him and subduing him, then putting his body on an alter. Meanwhile, in space, Ultra Stuffwell's ship, the Anchor of Naught, was borded by Iron Legion, and it's crew was overpowered.

The SWD/Freaten landed in Demos, setting up a position deep in their lines. Then, the main force hit their factories, while the core SWD/Freaten moved to where Gelvin was thought to be. They encountered, instead, a Iron Legion Champion named Hyperio, who attempted to absorb the power of the Demons he swore allegiance to, destroying himself in the process. Then, the SWD/Freaten ran into a prison facility, where people of various factions from the war were held. They agreed to provide a distraction while the core force moved to Gelvin.

When they arrived at Gelvin, they found that his ritual had already succeeded, and Ultra Stuffwell was possessed by a lost Champion of the Titans, who was feeding on the dead spirits of the war. They fought, using their relic weapons to beat him back, but the Champion fought on. Eventually, Ko'Tan overloaded his suit's core, destroying himself and the Demon.

In space, the SWD naval forces had destroyed the Anchor of Naught, which, due to the coup of it's crew, was near defenseless. The massive ship crashed into the sea of Chronis, causing a tidal wave that destroyed the Metal Army's factories, and completely annihilating the Iron Legion. Gelvin's position was bombarded by Banir's artillery, and Gelvin was about to escape, when Metal Sneezier overrode his AI, causing him to freeze in place. His body was incinerated by the artillery fire.

==Epilogue: Peace on the Shattered Battlefield==

The last scene of the battle showed a Freaten Warrior and an SWD Trooper fighting an Iron Legion Champion, Ri-Zack the Bloody Spade. The Champion killed the Freaten, and injured the SWD in one stroke. The Champion declared his victory, until the injured SWD fired a lucky shot into it's eye, felling the last Iron Legion soldier. The SWD Trooper limped over, and placed the Chronis flag, taken from the dead Freaten, in the body of the Champion. The banner flowed in the sunrise.

After the battle, Sha'Oreas and Commissar Banir were sitting with [[General Birdross]], [[Zornt]], and [[Kooplass]] in Or'Es'Kha. Transports from the Galactic Federation were coming in to reinforce the planet, and SWD ships were carrying out wounded and dead soldiers. Commissar Banir ordered that Kooplas and Birdross be given the Medal of Stars, the highest military honor, and Zornt was be the Freedom Medallion, the highest civilian honor, as well as being welcomed to stay on Chronis as a home. Zornt refused, going his own ways, while Kooplass and Birdross were shipped to different fronts. Commissar Banir became Commissar-General of the forces on Chronis, and the planet was ordered to be given aminsety.

Fifteen years later, the planet's Freaten population was relaxing in the expansive fields outside Or'Es'Kha. Near a patch of woods, a massive monument stood, depicting the heroes of the battle in their attack on the Demos Pinnisula. The monument stood to honor the dead, and the living, that made the planet's existence possible.

*The attack by the Yoshi Bodyguards on the SWD was one of the reasons that lead up to the unwritten breakup of their group very soon after.
*Chronis partly continued the X-Chaos arc, being another reason leading up to Crump being thrown out in [[Oddtastic Adventure]]. It also explained why the X-Naut army was destroyed before [[Grodus Rising]].
*Originally, the ice age in [[Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen!]] was supposed to explain why the SWD and Yoshi Bodyguards could not resolve the issue with high command, but due to issues with the timeline, this reason was changed to Ultra Stuffwell's ship blocking transmissions.
*Chronis is referenced in the Malidictum, Scorch taking blame for the ordering the Order Extermanatis with unforeseen consequences.

The Blackest Days was an [[RP Chronicles]] story on the War of Chronis, the bloodiest battle in known history, and the climax of the [[Metal Wars]]. Nine Armies all collided on one planet, each bent on domination, each willing to give everything they had for their own cause. The story follows the local population, the Freaten, a race distantly related to the Waddle Dees of Popstar, who populated the Star World colony of Chronis, liberated from [[Darkcorp]] by the [[SWDF]]. Each chapter was the defeat of a different race, leading to the defeat of the cursed [[Metal Army| Metal Army's]] Iron Legion, serving a lost demon of the Titans of the Dark Ages.

The battle occurred throughout the month of June 2008, standard Federation Calendar.

His forces then raided all of the surrounding bases, trying smash the Metal Army and [[SWD]] defenders for amusement as opposed to any practical or tactical purpose, though Wargutz did have plans to convert the planet in a staging area for another [[WAAGH]] when the conflict was over. Wargutz's base was raised by the Metal Army, when he activated a massive bomb, destroying much of the attacking force as well as the Ork hold. Wargutz escaped in a tunnel, and fled the planet.

Lead by a strange Popstarian known only as Cel, the Heartless sought the keyhole of the planet, hidden under a destroyed Ork monument. The SWD were aided by another unknown Popstarian, and together they sealed Chronis's keyhole and drove away the Heartless.

=Story=

==Prologue: The Fall of Or'Es'Kha==

The story began with Sha'Oreas and Ko'Tan, standing outside the burning gates of the Freaten capitol, Or'Es'Kha. With them, are the remaining Freaten Militia and SWD garrison from the city, as well as a massive convoy of civilians. Ko'Tan, leader of the Freaten Militia, and Captain Vash, leader of the SWD garrison in Or'Es'Kha, met with [[General Birdross]], a SWD General stranded on the planet. Inside the city, Phazon forces were taking over, corrupting the dead bodies of local Freaten and turning them into slaves. Just then, a motorbike streamed from the sky, and crashed into the area who volunteered to help the SWD. So the forces escaped Or'Es'Kha, the last remaining air forces napalm bombing the city as they left.

==Chapter 1: The Green Tide==

The Freaten convoy reached the middle of the continent, where the conflict was turning the landscape into a moonscape of craters. Ko'Tan and Vash agreed that the safest way would be through the southern jungles, which [[Wargutz]] infested. Ko'Tan, Birdross, and Zornt were sent with an Ember Team to disarm the Ork base. At the same time, Hi-Lord Gelvin sent a Iron Legion champion, Babi, with a large strike force to destroy the Ork base. Just as the Freaten force came in, the Metal Army struck, giving the Freaten a chance to battle [[Wargutz]]. Wargutz was beaten, but activated a nuclear warhead that desimated the Ork base and the surrounding area. [[Wargutz]] and the SWD/Freaten were able to escape, but the Metal Army and the remaining Orks were destroyed in the blast. [[Wargutz]] escaped the planet in a hidden Ork ship when the battle was nearing it's end, and the Freaten convoy moved onward.

==Chapter 2: Crump's Crusade==

The Freaten convoy made it to the outskirts of Victory Bay, when it was ambushed by a Yoshi Bodyguard force. In the end, Commissar Banir and Captain Kooplass came in to ward them off, informing them that the Yoshi Bodyguards had undergone Order Exterminatis, and would purge all military force from the world. Commissar Banir then informed them of the X-Naut presence in the area. Elsewhere, Lord Crump uncovered a massive stone relic, which spoke to him, though he ignored it. Just then, the SWD attacked, devastating his artillery, but he brought out cloaked snipers when the SWD were in position. Then, the SWD took their communication's tower, allowing them access to the locations of their snipers. They cleared the way to Lord Crump, and destroyed his headquarters. Lord Crump swore revenge on all of the armies of Chronis, then retreated to orbit. Later, the Metal Army would raid the X-Naut base, and take the stone relic under orders of Hi-Lord Gelvin.

==Chapter 3: Into the Icy Abyss==

The SWDF returned to Victory Bay, where Governor-General Lucas Alexander greeted them. He told them of the Yoshi Bodyguard's Order Extermanatis, the order from their command to pacify all military forces on the planet, including the SWDF, who could not back down due to orders from their own command. He also informed them of the Vhozon Mothership preventing a civilian evacuation. Just then, Samus's ship crashed down into Victory Bay. She was saved, and offered to help destroy the Vhozon. So the SWD went to the Northern Ice Sheet, home of the Vhozon ground forces and their warpgate to their mothership. The SWDF landed in the ice sheet, and battled several traitor Iron Legion forces before reaching the Vhozon. They battled Farseer Maythes, who managed to push them back, until the Yoshi Bodyguards arrived and bombed the base. Then, the SWD made a push for the warpgate, setting a nuclear charge inside it, and delivering it to their mothership. The mothership was damaged, but not destroyed, until Alexander, back at Victory Bay, ordered the Hellfire Cannon, a relic from the days of Darkcorp, to be fired. The blast destroyed the mothership, and the civilian convoy was evacuated successfully. The Vhozon were stranded, and one by one, killed off through the war.

==Chapter 4: Death's Locust==

As the SWD returned, they found that the entire central part of the core contient had been overrun by [[Necrons]]. It seemed that the Vhozon were keeping them at bay through Soulice on their mothership. The SWD were shot down by a Necron Monolith, but were recovered by an assault team lead by Commisssar Gebit, who were to use a warhead left from the assault on the Vhozon to collapse the caverns the Necrons were spawning out of, destroying their energy core. The group entered, encountering converted Metal Army mechs and Necron abominations. They also fought a champion of one of the twin hearts, Gazu R who's now a Mecha Paraiah. They fought him then face the Necron Lord. They desabled him and eventually facing the Nightbringer. The bomb was detonated, and the caverns all collapsed. The Necrons on the surface, now without power, shut down, dying off. Now, without the Deznium Mines, the original purpose for the battle had ended, but all factions continued to fight on.

==Chapter 5: In the Darkest Night==

When the SWD/Freaten returned to Victory Bay, Governor Alexander informed them of a strange energy signature coming from the Green Coast, former home of Wargutz's WAAGH. The SWD reached the outpost set there, finding it overrun by a strange breed of creatures called Heartless. They fought their way to the crater of Wargutz's bomb, where they encounted a Popstarian named Cel. They battled him, and were about to lose, when an unknown Popstarian, armed with a keyblade, helped the SWD defeat him, and sealed the "planet's keyhole" hidden in the center of the crater. Just as morning broke, the SWD/Freaten got news that the Yoshi Bodyguards had launched an attack on Victory Bay.

==Chapter 6: The Fall of Victory Bay==

The SWD/Freaten rushed back to Victory Bay, hoping to evacuate Governor-General Alexander and Ethereal Sha'Oreas before the base was overrun. Their ships were shot down by Yoshi Bodyguards upon entering the city, but the group reformed on Commissar Gebit's position, which held against the Yoshi Bodyguards until several psychic operatives began to go insane from the Metal Army's tampering with Demonic magics. The SWD/Freaten group battled one in it's own pocket dimension, defeating him. Just then, a sniper killed Commissar Gebit, and the men of his company began to turn on themselves for one last effort. the SWD/Freaten under Ko'Tan fell back to the central plaza, where Commissar Banir was holding out with his Metal Slug Godslayer. The group reached the Command Post, where Sha'Oreas and Alexander were, and held out for some time, until a stray bullet hit Alexander in the throat, killing him. Just then, Commissar Banir came in with several transports, and got Sha'Oreas, Ko'Tan, and the remaining SWD to safety. At the Hellstorm Cannon, Captain Vash saw his forces being overrun, and overloaded the core of the cannon, killing himself and a large group of attacking Clone Troopers, and preventing the Hellstorm Cannon from being used against them. The remaining SWD at Victory Bay were shipped back to orbit by order of the Yoshi Bodyguards, and treated fairly, however, a good fourth of the Liberators were with Ko'Tan and Banir, and were ready for vengeance.

==Chapter 7: Return to Or'Es'Kha==

Sha'Oreas first ordered that a base of operations was needed before the attack could be continued. Dark Danny's Phazon force, still weak from the Necron attack, and preoccupied with the Yoshi Bodyguards, left their base open to attack. It was discovered in the Necron tide that Phazon could be destroyed by Necron Gauss, and a Freaten Battlesuit was outfitted with a Necron Generator. Ko'Tan lead an attack into Or'Es'Kha, with orders to destroy the Leviathan Seed of the Hades Strain using the outfitted battlesuit. The Freaten/SWD first encountered several Phazon mutants, before breaching the inner walls of the seed and fighting Dark Danny. After a first defeat, Dark Danny formed with a local Freox Monster corpse, as well as a felled Broadside Suit, making him in an Omega form. He was defeated, his body destroyed, but right after the seed's core was destroyed by the Gauss blast, he reformed, just long enough to give the warning, "I'll have my revenge, but your war will do it for me." The seed collapsed, Dark Danny teleported away, and the Hades Strain died off, too complex to survive without a central seed. Or'Es'Kha returned to the control of the Freaten, when Commissar Banir and Sha'Oreas informed the main group that they would be attacking the Yoshi Bodyguard base in the Skullchain Mountains.

==Chapter 8: The Blood of Star World==

The SWD/Freaten, under Ko'Tan, first infiltrated the Yoshi Bodyguard base in Skullchain. First, they commandeered an orbital control station, fighting the Yoshi Bodyguard Librarian Oswin in the process, and ordered the ship overhead to fire on the outlying bases. After the defenses were broken, Commissar Banir pushed the main assault on the Yoshi Bodyguard Stronghold. The SWD/Freaten fought through their defenses, facing Thule himself, who wielded one of Supreme Commander [[Mack's]] lightsabers. He was killed, and the Yoshi Bodyguards bombarded their base in a last ditch effort to bury their secrets, which turned out to be forbidden technology horded in the base. The remaining Yoshi Bodyguards withdrew, leaving the SWD/Freaten to take the technology left.

With one army left, the SWD/Freaten moved what forces they had into the Iron Legion's position.

==Chapter 9: Within the Darkness==

The last of the Star World Defensive Forces and Freaten Militia began to move into the Demos Peninsula. Each of the core team was armed with a piece of hidden Yoshi Bodyguard Technology. Zornt was armed with a Deamonhammer, Ko'Tan with a light mana crystal (which he assimilated into his suit), Birdross with [[Mack's]] Lightsaber, Kooplass with a prototype cannon, Commissar Banir with a modified Metal Slug Godslayer, and Sha'Oreas with a staff of light.

Meanwhile, Gelvin put his plan into full swing. The Iron Legion took Ultra Stuffwell hostage, overpowering him and subduing him, then putting his body on an alter. Meanwhile, in space, Ultra Stuffwell's ship, the Anchor of Naught, was borded by Iron Legion, and it's crew was overpowered.

The SWD/Freaten landed in Demos, setting up a position deep in their lines. Then, the main force hit their factories, while the core SWD/Freaten moved to where Gelvin was thought to be. They encountered, instead, a Iron Legion Champion named Hyperio, who attempted to absorb the power of the Demons he swore allegiance to, destroying himself in the process. Then, the SWD/Freaten ran into a prison facility, where people of various factions from the war were held. They agreed to provide a distraction while the core force moved to Gelvin.

When they arrived at Gelvin, they found that his ritual had already succeeded, and Ultra Stuffwell was possessed by a lost Champion of the Titans, who was feeding on the dead spirits of the war. They fought, using their relic weapons to beat him back, but the Champion fought on. Eventually, Ko'Tan overloaded his suit's core, destroying himself and the Demon.

In space, the SWD naval forces had destroyed the Anchor of Naught, which, due to the coup of it's crew, was near defenseless. The massive ship crashed into the sea of Chronis, causing a tidal wave that destroyed the Metal Army's factories, and completely annihilating the Iron Legion. Gelvin's position was bombarded by Banir's artillery, and Gelvin was about to escape, when Metal Sneezier overrode his AI, causing him to freeze in place. His body was incinerated by the artillery fire.

*The attack by the Yoshi Bodyguards on the SWD was one of the reasons that lead up to the unwritten breakup of their group very soon after.
*Chronis partly continued the X-Chaos arc, being another reason leading up to Crump being thrown out in [[Oddtastic Adventure]]. It also explained why the X-Naut army was destroyed before [[Grodus Rising]].
*Originally, the ice age in [[Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen!]] was supposed to explain why the SWD and Yoshi Bodyguards could not resolve the issue with high command, but due to issues with the timeline, this reason was changed to Ultra Stuffwell's ship blocking transmissions.
*Chronis is referenced in the Malidictum, Scorch taking blame for the ordering the Order Extermanatis with unforeseen consequences.
*In [[Coshi and Plasshi: The Tale of Two Dinos]], SWD Troopers were somewhat fearful and hostile toward the Yoshi Bodyguards due to the Chronis incident. Not only that, the Porthex used this situation to their advantage by framing Plasshi using an android and tricked them into destroying a Waffle Kingdom Space Colony disguised as Neo-COUE fortress.
