Asmodeus Yoshiler was a yoshi related to [[Yoshi (Character)|Yoshi]] who began [[The Yoshi Bodyguards]] organization to protect him, due to his close proximity with [[Mario]] putting him in the spotlight and giving him enemies. This organization became a centerpiece of [[Star World]] defense for many years, expanding far beyond his original intention. Asmodeus was locked in a feud with the demon [[Varfudor]], neither able to die until one killed the other, at which point they both died. He had three adopted sons, two yoshis and one a wolf, [[Winter]], [[Summer]], and [[Anubis]]. He later learned the egg of his [[Asmodeus III|son]] still existed.

==History==

===Before The Yoshi Bodyguards===

There was stuff involving demons with Asmodeus' past but I don't remember much off the top of my head so I will focus on what I can remember.

===The Yoshi Bodyguards===

Seeing that a relative of his named Yoshi was becoming famous and the target of infamous people, Asmodeus decided to start an organization to protect him, naming it The Yoshi Bodyguards. [[Sneezier]] joined him in this organization, as did maybe some sort of Meta Knight robot I'm not sure what SZM the character or Pyro's relation with their joining the YB is exactly. Without warning one day, however, a large bullet bill was shot at the [[Yoshi Bodyguards HQ|headquarters]]; Asmodeus was the only one there at the time, and he was hospitalized with injuries.

When he was released, he restarted the YB, now with more members such as [[Mack]], [[Topper]], and [[PB]]. Over time they would come into conflict with many infamous foes and the organization grew in members. During this time Asmodeus adopted a blue yoshi he named Winter, but time was beginning to catch up to him and eventually he retired, giving the role of leader to Mack. He went with Winter to live in his hometown in peace.

===A Dark Horizon===

The peace would not last, however, as an army of demons led by Asmodeus' nemesis, Varfudor, came to overrun the village one day. Asmodeus had been preparing for this, however, and he had Winter contact the YB to help. They were unable to save the village, however, and it was overrun, prompting Asmodeus to leave retirement and return to the YB. During this period he adopted another yoshi, red, this one he named Summer. Soon after he adopted a lone wolf cub whose mother and siblings had been killed. These two were largely raised by the YB, though, as Asmodeus and Winter were off scouting against the demons led by Varfudor.

During one of these scouting expeditions, Winter was caught in a blast from the demons and killed, while Asmodeus was injured in another. He was brought back to the YB HQ to heal, and there he explained to the other members of his history with Varfudor and the demons. Around this time he also learned an egg of his had been kept alive since when the demons had killed his wife. Upon being healed he went off to find his son, inadvertently leaving Summer and Anubis stranded elsewhere and forced to make it back home themselves.

After recovering the egg with his son inside, he went off to have a final showdown with Varfudor, but found that Summer had joined him, becoming Lord Farzar and killing Asmodeus. With that death, the Dark Ages would begin.

Asmodeus' final appearance was after the YB had helped rescue Asmodeus III and Anubis from Koholint; he was seen as a spirit flying with Winter's spirit and Summer's true spirit (which had inhabited Anubis.)

====Winter====

Winter was a blue yoshi adopted by Asmodeus while he was in the YB. Winter eventually grew wings and they were very close, but Winter was eventually killed by a blast from the demons. Asmodeus always blamed himself for this.

====Summer====

Summer was the second yoshi Asmodeus adopted, Summer. However, due to Asmodeus finding himself busy with the demons and with Winter helping him, Summer began to feel lonely and even betrayed, eventually joining the demon that haunted Asmodeus' family, Varfudor, and changing his name to Lord Farzar. However, it was later learned the spirit within Summer's body was not the intentional spirit, but instead a version of him from a universe that runs parallel that had somehow gotten to the other side; the spirit that was intended for Summer's body instead inhabited the body of a dying baby wolf that was also adopted by Asmodeus and named Anubis.

====Anubis====

Anubis was a dying baby wolf adopted by Asmodeus when he found him in the woods, his mother and siblings already dead. He stayed around Summer for the most part, as Asmodeus was busy with Winter trying to stop a incoming tide of demons. Unlike Summer, Anubis did not join Varfudor; it was later learned the spirit inhabiting Anubis had been intended to inhabit the body of Summer, but instead a dark version of his spirit from a parallel universe inhabited Summer's body. After The Dark Ages, Anubis became the temporary leader of the YB until Asmodeus' son could take over.

====Asmodeus III====

Asmodeus III, or Az for short, was laid years before the YB was founded, but never hatched; Asmodeus found the egg was still intact after all these years and was still viable to be hatched, which he did. However, Asmodeus never truly got to know Az, as he was killed when he was still a baby; Lord Farzar tried to be his mentor during The Dark Ages, but was killed and Az was rescued by Anubis. Az would later go on to become the new leader of the YB once he was old enough.

====Yoshi====

Yoshi was Asmodeus' cousin, a bit of a celebrity who was friends with Mario. Due to this, he was targeted by many who would wish him harm, and so Asmoeus began The Yoshi Bodyguards to keep him safe.

Asmodeus lived in the YB HQ while he was leader of the YB. There was a where he was not leader, during which he lived in a village in a modest home with Winter, but this village was overrun with demons and he returned to the YB HQ which was his home until his death.

===Varfudor===

Varfudor was an ancienet demon that had haunted Asmodeus' family through the ages, ultimately culminating in him having his adopted son, Summer, kill him. This haunting began with an old, bitter rivalry in Asmodeus' family.
