The '''Dark Perforation Army''' was a mass of ancient extragalactic creatures that invaded the galactic cluster. At the peak of their empire, they had control over a vast majority of the known universe, and were controlled by a creature named The Dark Perforation. Their invasion of the galactic cluster ended in a fierce war that cost billions of lives, but after their creator was destroyed the entire Dark Perforation Army dissipated. Even today facts about their origins and impact on the universe are still being uncovered.

== History ==

===Origins===

Very little is known about the origins of the Dark Perforation, except that an asteroid containing the base essentials for life was absorbed by a black hole. Through a strange process, this became the core Dark Perforation creature, which could them replicate itself into lesser creatures that it controlled. As it divided, it formed a higher intelligence, moving across worlds and combating all other forms of life that attempted to get in its way.

Very little is known about that time. The Dark Perforation increased its technological levels to that where it could transcend galaxies, and soon after galactic clusters. Billions of years passed, when it finally arrived at the fringe of the Sapia Galaxy.

===Calm Before the Storm===

Seeing a sector teeming with life, the Dark Perforation took at first sent scouts to find the strongest sections of the cluster. It sent several hundred creatures that had the ability to mimic other creatures. The usages of this were three fold, first it would allow the Dark Perforation to assimilate the sector's knowledge and language before the invasion, second it gave it the fighting styles and tactics of the creatures he was fighting, and third it would then be able to destabilize the defenses of the world. These were sent out over a period of several thousand years, where the Dark Perforation learned much of the creatures and inhabitants of the sector. When it learned of the prophecy of a mighty king who would "dispel the darkness" made by the [[Chozo]], the Dark Perforation created a metal reflection of this in order to combat him. This would become [[Metal Top]].

In the 2000s, the prophesied king, [[Top Mon Hit]] appeared, and the Dark Perforation sent Metal Top to remove him. He also sent three of mimic pods, that would become [[Anti-Top]], [[Anti-Oshy]], and [[Anti-Topper]]. These would cause trouble for Top and his comrades, but were beaten back every time.

It later came to the attention of the Dark Perforation that a jewel of immense power was located somewhere in the [[Starlite Sector]] on the world of [[Shiver Star]]. This gem had the power to destroy entire planets, and the Dark Perforation hoped to reverse engineer the gem and replicate its power. In the first direct action of the Perforation as an army, the Dark Perforation sent Minorbu to obtain the gem from [[Princess Snophia Icle]]. They came into conflict with Top, who was put in charge of Shiver Star as King, but eventually claimed the Kingdom. However, Top managed to get away with the diamond.

While it lost the diamond, Metal Top commented on a gem he had found known as the Master Emerald. The Dark Perforation approved and allowed Metal Top to move in to claim the gem. He sent a number of ships and forces to support him, but Metal Top was eventually defeated by a band of heroes lead by Top. However, the Dark Perforation only used this as a distraction and sent a cloaked force lead by Minorbu to raid Top's house for the diamond. He succeeded, and returned the gem to the Perforation's base of operations.

===Invasion===

The Dark Perforation then decided to launch his full invasion force into the galaxy. He first hit the Galactic Federation fringe of the [[Salanos Galaxy]] and pushed into the galaxy's mid-rim, taking the undefended fringe worlds as most of their forces were occupied with pacifying [[Mekkai]] after the last battle of the [[Metal Wars]]. They swept down through the fringe between the Salanos and Tetra galaxies, until a fleet under the command of [[General Daliear]] began to slow their progress as they pushed the core of the galaxy. While the fleet stalled them, they could not hold back the Perforation's numbers and worlds continued to fall.

The Dark Perforation then tasked Metal Top with a special assignment, to move to the planet of [[Pokeworld]] with the diamond, with the intention of absorbing the wide variety of life on the world then destroying it. He sent a legion of his mechanical Replicators with Metal Top, who quickly overwhelmed the [[Pokeworld Defensive Forces]] and took the planet. However, Top and a group of heroes returned and beat their way through to Metal Top, and they teleported the diamond to space where it detonated harmlessly. Metal Top managed to escape the planet in the aftermath.

The Dark Perforation ran into another setback in the worlds that they held in the Salanos Galaxy, as a massive force of [[X-Naut]] and [[Metal Army]] forces pushed from the Tetra Galaxy and took a portion of the worlds taken by the Dark Perforation. This cut off their advance into Galactic Federation space, and the push began to encroach on the worlds near the Dark Perforation's Castle. They were contacted by a Metal Army robot named Omega who offered to help them push back the X-Nauts if they sent aid. Reluctantly the Dark Perforation sent [[General LeBombe]] (and Nonmetal Pyro, who had been living in the castle) along with a large force to aid Omega. LeBombe destroyed the X-Naut's AI Disruptor in a hardfought battle over [[Hylia|Hylia's]] moon, allowing Omega to regain control of his forces. He then helped raid the world of [[Tallon IV]] to help fund Omega's push into the X-Naut controlled space. When the resources were gained, they attacked the planet of [[Mintop]], where the X-Nauts maintained the heaviest control. With the help of [[Conrad the Conquerer]] LeBombe's forces destroyed the Metal Army factories on the planet. However, at the eve of their victory Omega betrayed his allies, killing LeBombe and cutting down the Dark Perforation forces to the last man.

Meanwhile, upset with his stream of defeats at the hands of Top, the Dark Perforation launched a full invasion of Top's central planet of [[Star World]]. Upon landing, he set up an impenetrable shield around the planet, preventing any support from arriving and cutting off the SWDF fleet. However, [[Team TOT]] rallied a group to break the Dark Perforation hold on Diamond City, and broke their shield.

The Alliance of Worlds then moved in to engage the Dark Perforation at their main castle, using a reverse engineered [[Black Hole Cannon]] to pierce their defenses. Two strike forces were sent in, one to clear the way of Dark Perforation forces and one to rescue the prisoners captured by the Peforation. The two groups met up, and engaged in a final battle against the Perforation. Eventually the core creature was defeated. This caused a chain reaction, which destroyed all Perforation forces and technology.

===Legacy===

Even after the Dark Perforation died, their legacy would continue to impact the universe. First of which was their Black Hole Cannon gifted to the SWDF, though [[The Cloud]] took it and gave it to [[Dark Top]]. The SWDF would later attempt to rebuild this cannon, which would allow for a form of faster-than-light travel more powerful then that of slipspace.

Later, the scientist [[Slike]] would discover the corpse of the Dark Perforation and use it to create his own creatures. He sold these monsters to [[Rexor]] in order to inadvertently get back at the former Yoshi Bodyguards who had defeated him time and again. However, he was discovered and defeated by the heroes he sought to destroy.

The appearance of the Dark Perforation had an impact on several civilizations throughout the universe, many worshiping them as Gods. Some sought to prepare for their next coming, dressing themselves as Dark Perforation creatures and creating rituals that they thought would give them its blessing. One of the strongest was in the Hiddukel Sector, which became a strong military force that managed to steal a good deal of technology and research surrounding the Dark Perforation.

== Military ==

The Dark Perforation Army has the advantage in astromnumerical amount, outnumbering total populations of galaxies. Each soldier are extremely diverse from each other, all specialized many tasks such as anti-armor or anti-air. This could cause trouble for novice commanders, especially in RTS games. ''(I seriously wish I knew what that meant)'' Because of their large numbers, they often overwhelm the enemy into submission into surrender or total destruction.

However they have one fatal flaw which mirrors the term, "clearing the board". If the Dark Perforation was killed (which happened), the everything he worked up, every soldier, every equipment, even ships and planet-sized fortresses vanished into nothing. So in layman's terms, kill the leader, everything's gone no matter how many years, centuries, millenniums, or even eons has passed.

== Technology ==
The army's technology is advanced as the Necrons and Celestial Architects since they can perform blockades using mirror discs or capable of invading an entire universe.

Most of the technology is stolen from other races and recently, they stole Sneezier's advanced cloning tech to create more armies for The Dark Perforation's unsatisfying thirst for all of existence, infinity and beyond.
