 Amphy the Ampharos, a character of [[User:PaperMarioFan|Paper's]], is an amateur magician that is almost always seen palling around with [[Christopher]], who he considers his close friend. He either dons magician's hat (possibly with same-colored cape) or nothing at all. Amphy has been in a few stories to date, debuting story-wise in [[Grodus Rising]] as one of the Conscripts, and RP-wise in [[Nintendo Anecdote 3]], which probably doesn't count anyway.

 They're good friends that have been traveling for a long time, but they weren't always that close. Before Grodus Rising, the two were just business partners that agreed to travel together to help each other make money. Amphy was rather... poor, due to his "job" as a magician paying him the pokemon equivalent of about $4 per show. Amphy was always enthusiastic, which initially bothered Christopher, but he grew to Amphy eventually and started taking several missions with him. Amphy may get on Christopher's nerves, but he wouldn't desert Amphy by any means. If they separate, it's only because they're going to (try to) find each other again afterward.

Amphy the Ampharos, a character of [[User:PaperMarioFan|Paper's]], is an amateur magician that is almost always seen palling around with [[Christopher]], who he considers his close friend. He either dons magician's hat (possibly with same-colored cape) or nothing at all. Amphy has been in a few stories to date, debuting story-wise in [[Grodus Rising]] as one of the Conscripts, and RP-wise in [[Nintendo Anecdote 3]], which probably doesn't count anyway.

Him and Christopher tend to use underhanded tactics to get their money, as innocent as Amphy seems, although it's usually Christopher that actually thinks of those tactics, and he just tells Amphy to help out.

They, along with [[Eli]] and [[Paper]], assisted [[Grodus]]' efforts until the end of the story.
