			Much of their origins started when Ryshi's first moon crashed into the planet which not only altered the ecosystem, it also formed into a small contient called Porthelia. The planet was ravaged for decades unti the ledgendary god bird named the Oni-Bird restored the planet. Very unusual wild-life spawned on this moon contient but the most prominent is the Slugaks, a gastropod mollusc formed by the Oni-Bird's magic, Porthelia's mutations, and Ryshi's influence. Over eons, they will eventually evolve into barely humanoid Slugocrags then eventually the Porthex, gaining superior speed and agility dispite decended from a slow speices thanks to having feet.

			Porthexes are evolved gastropod mollusc in terms of biology so salt makes them weak in small amounts or very lethal in truckloads. What makes them unique to other slug-like beings is having varying quanities of eyes. Two eyed Porthex are the standard. Having more means they are more elite; smarter, stronger, faster, and having more abilties the average joes don't have. They are also part of a class of species that share their characteristics much like their Star World counterparts. Their subspecies cousins are different from the porthex. They can survive in the cold vaccum of outer space thanks to having Silicon-based organs aside from breathing regular oxygen. Their skin also vary on color much like the Lekshis.

			Their common ability is forming a slimy and sticky sweat-like subtance that be used to trap their prey. Others can shoot lasers from their eyes. They are also suprising fast and agile like ninjas dispite being decended from the slow Ryshiani slug.
