			Later the YB received a message from their current and future leaders, [[Anubis]] and [[Asmodeus III]], who were trapped on Koholint Isle on Hylia. Pyro was asleep during the announcement, but Aqua woke up him and they hurried after them. They arrive on the planet, learn how to reach Koholint, and sail on a wooden ship to the island. Along the way they're caught in a storm and thrown overboard; they landed on Koholint and met up with Az and Anubis. They're told to find eight instruments so that they can leave the island, but a coyote named Mermus appears trying to gather them first.

			Later Mermus attacks a village, and when the YBs arrive to stop him they find he is being helped with versions of the YBs from an opposite universe. Anubis then returned after disappearing for a time, bearing the last six instruments; Pyro got neither an electric fish guitar nor a kazoo. They then traveled up the mountain and encountered their opposite-counterparts again, and Pyro and Aqua fought Pryo and Araquai, beating them and escaping back to the real world.

	Despite being one of the first Yoshi Bodyguards ever, Pyro hardly ever did anything besides lounge around and complain that he was bored. On the few times he did tag along on adventures, most of the time he didn't actually do anything significant. 			After Pyro ran around doing nothing of any real importance, significance, or logic, a strange, dark mist began infecting creatures that attacked the yB HQ. One of these attacks involved koopatrols capturing Top and bringing him to a floating castle. The YB followed and encountered a brown batamon wearing a mask they knew as Meta Top. Inside the castle they found Top and [[Bowser]]'s father, Morton Koopa Sr., whom they had thought dead several months earlier.

			In the ensuing fight, Meta Top's sword broke a machine in the room and everyone was teleported away. They arrived at a dark, barren wasteland with ruin all around, and Meta Top told them it was the future. They fled the open area as an army of armored koopatrols marched at them. They arrived at Vanilla Dome, where the last line of defense against Morton's dark rule of the future resided, whereas most of the planet was possessed by the dark mist. Of these resisters was a blue-gray yoshi named Mysteria strongly hinted to be the daughter of Pyro and Aqua, as well as an adult Pyruni who could talk.

	~~I DONT REALLY CARE ANYMORE BUT I HAVE KEPT THIS SECRET LONG ENOUGH I MIGHT AS WELL!~~		Long kept a secret for no real reason, Pyro's Final Smash is FireRed Pyro. It can be activated when Pyro has all 7 Gemerald Stars or another suitable source of energy (such as a Smash Ball). In this form, Pyro is on fire and has considerably upgraded fire powers, as well as large flaming wings.
