It's possible Sub would have trained Shem, but nobody remembered it so it ultimately was canned. ...Ew, canned egg?

			Shem first appeared at Mekkai by being poofed there by [[The Cloud]]. It was found by Tron, who was then found by Subsourian and he took custody of it. Shem may have appeared in things then. It did appear in The Dark Cloud, where it was with Sub as he finally caught up to The Cloud. Shem remarked as remembering The Cloud when he first appeared at Mekkai, but this was not elaborated on.

			Shem's personality may have been one of interest in things but who really knows.

			Shem was a large egg with multicolor spots on it, making it look a bit like a [[Yoshi]] egg.

			Shem had limited magical power that could have been trained by Sub I guess.

			===Purpose===

			Shem was to have been brought to Mekkai by The Cloud to be found by someone and given to Sub. It (its sex may or may not have been decided upon) was supposed to be trained by Sub, and as the training went it would grow closer to hatching. Around the time of hatching it may have been stolen by an antagonist; either, upon hatching it would reveal to be a chao (depending on how its training went, it would either be a hero or dark chao.) Its magic would continue to be trained and eventually it would sacrifice itself in battle, leaving nothing but an egg that The Cloud would take away and drop at Mekkai, causing it to be part of an endless time loop.

			Some of this may have been made up on the spot.

			Shem thought Sub was a cool guy for maybe not eating it I guess. Sub was far too busy training every young yoshi on [[Star World]] to train a chao, though.
