			Shiver Star was one of the last planets to be colonized by the Celestial Architects. Before they came, it's unknown if anything else was on the planet, but recent scientific investigation has shown that the planet may not have always been frozen over.

			After the Celestial Architects and the more recent species came to live there, the planet was quickly industrialized due to the difficulty of a farming economy in the icy world. The rapid industrialization caused an increase in crime, however, which would escalate until an event would completely change the planet.

			The son of an infamous mob boss, Chills Pacone, began making multiple investments on the planet after obtaining a large sum of money. With these investments, he eventually had a controlling interest of everything on the planet. With this, and the members of his growing mafia, he was able to take control of the planet. Overall, however, the economy and culture didn't change very much. The economy thrived, but there were no taxes--instead, smaller mob groups existed that paid Chills money in order to stay in business.

			There have also been smaller kingdoms hidden in the mountains, such as the [[Iclan Kingdom]].

			Shiver Star has a very materialistic culture, with the holidays being a time of a lot of hustle and bustle. Around 80% of the populace has a factory job, with only a very small percent self-employed.
