Wiggly Jr. went through Toad Town for a bit until a Toad noticed him, saying that Merlon wanted to speak to a Wiggler that matched his description. Wiggly Jr. went to Merlon's house, and Merlon told him his son, Merle, had a vision about him, so Wiggly Jr. headed out to Starborn Valley. When he arrived, Monstar appeared, but Wiggly Jr. just passed it due to neither able to actually hurt one another. Since Monstar was actually just a bunch of Star Kids trying to protect Starborn Valley, Wiggly Jr. went to Merle and learned Merle had a vision that Wiggly Jr. was searching for his mother. Merle explained that years ago, his mother had come by with a single shard, and went north to a temple. Because she had only one shard at the time, that was most likely the best place to look. And thus, Wiggly Jr. traveled north to the temple, but what he found there is for another story...
